  • do you always leave your case open like that? arent you worried about dust?

  • what program do you use to see the temperaturew up there in the corner?

  • everest by Lavalays

  • i have this too but don't show my temps up there.. maybe an option?

  • There is an option

  • can you please tell me how to turn it on?? sorry for stealing your time..

  • Are you Anti Christ?

  • @2MakeTheDifference Are you idiot?

  • I would say that if you are going to only cool your cpu with liquid then it isn't worth it but if you are going to cool like north south and graphics card i think it is totally worth it

  • @weremunkster I'd agree for the most part, though I'd say unless you're doing some fairly heavy overclocking watercooling your nb/sb + isn't really worth it. Then again if you aren't overclocking at all watercooling is a waste to begin with. But yes, just cooling the CPU is pretty much a waste of time.

  • oh really so youre going to see no perfermance difference when playing say... mw2, or crysis max with 1080p reso, with a dual 3ghz core compared to a i7 965? funny, when i overclocked my cpu my fps were raised. does that not count as a performance incrase?

  • I have my mw2 maxed with a res of 1920x1080 on a 23in moni with a amd dual core athlon x2 4200+ 2.2ghz @ 3.0ghz same with left for dead 2 demo on steam, same with cod5 W@W, all on a ati hd 4670, I get around 40-90 fps in those games, can't really compare them to crysis though as my computer doesn't like running it. :)

  • Thats completely true a lot of people focus on the front end where graphics cards are the first solution although in the background a good cpu can be the difference in making a high of 67 fps and making an average of 67 fps. Plus the new x58 dominates 790i!

  • some thimes setting up a water cooling system can be a pain in the ass

  • setting it up is easy, taking it apart is the pain in the ass! :)

  • Wow mate thast awesome setup! Nice temps too

    Great video

  • you will enter a war with these pc hahahahaha

  • ww3 lol

  • Hey guys do you think buying a graphics card with a pre-mounted water block is better or do you think mounting your own is better?

  • It is better to buy with a water block.

  • It's better to mount your own. Better thermal compound options and probably a better block, especially if it's not an EVGA you're looking at.

  • Comment removed

  • Well done bro! Was there a particular reason you mounted to the CPU block sideways? I've got the same block and man it really lives up to the name. My i7 is at 3.6GHz and 40C idle.

  • Would not fit because of the capacitor on the board hitting the CPU block.

  • Hello. Very nice mod mate !!! I own the same case (stacker 830 evo) and 1 gtx 295, I7 920 and I wish to watercool both of them but I need to know where to put my 360 rad !!! Can you explain me please how did you succeed in fixind your's behind the case (how to please !) ? Thx a lot !!!!! Best regards, Fabien.

  • I use the swiftech's radbox MCB-120.

  • NIce Bro i love it, check my rig out!

  • And you only use 1 radiator to cool the i7 965 and GTX295. Mind you they are such heat whores lol!

  • I use two radiator. 1 RX360 rear and 1 Black Ice Pro II inside. Single Loop.

    Rad1 -> GPU -> VRM -> Rad2 -> Cpu -> NB -> rsvr

  • VERY nice work!

  • Wow stunning!! Post some video-benchmarks!!

  • huw did you get the cpu temps icon up there ?? and is it possible to show the gpu temps also ??

  • I use EVEREST Ultimate Edition. Yes, you can setup all temps to show.
