everyone who reads this i heard that kerri21 sucks a lot of dick so much in fact that it would make elton john blush but you do have to give him credit he talks a lot of shit with dick in his mouth
When I'm teaching someone to throw a backhand, I will tell them to throw on an angle such that if the disc followed that line it would hit the ground 20 to 25 feet in front of you.
Learn to throw flat, why are you teaching people to throw anhyzer, when you can't even throw flat most likely. And with the amount of anhyzer you're using, you're throwing it at the ground.
i dont understand all you people who feel the need to call these people idiots. Hes just trying to help people learn how to throw the way he does. if it works different for you that doesnt make him an idiot, it makes you a petty, sad and lonely person who has nothing better to do than rip on people who arent even there to defend themselves. If you think your better, find this guy and challenge him to a round, otherwise SHUT UP!!!
@kerri21 your a fag he is not that good of a player and he does a shit job at explaining the way to throw so fuck you and fuck that guy i hope you burn in hell cunt.
I have heard a couple people talk about bringing your arm back higher on your "reachback" and it has helped me to get my drives farther and more consistent. It does take some work though and feels awkward at first.
Well I didn't boo you, I actually thumbs up because I still value your opinion, but the rules are that of regular golf, there's no difference other than frisbee/ball, basket/cup. The goals are the same. PGA/PDGA, PDGA might not be as big but it's goals are that of the PGAs. Tossing frisbees to friends playing catch isn't the sport.
yeah bring it far back to your shoulder but dont release it to the floor, try to release it as flat as possible and have a good hard flick in your wrist and you should be good. =]
I was following this advice for about 5 months and it really messed up my game... What he should have said was: keep your elbow up, shift your weight forward and throw flat.
The one tip he gives is pretty bad advice for a beginner. Yes, you should learn to throw low, but you should not do that by starting behind the shoulder and throwing an anhyzer shot. I made the mistake of learning to play this way when I taught myself, and I assumed that forcing the S-curve that way got more distance. It doesn't. Use an understable disc and learn flat and turnover shots by keeping your arm loose and twisting with your body.
...I don't mean to sound judgmental--it's great advice for just a once-in-awhile recreational player. If you'd really like to get better though, learn to release all shots with a hyzer angle. If you do it well, by keeping your arm relaxed and generating speed with your body and legs, then the disc will turn over and get that S-curve.
Thanks. Im a beginner and this has really improved my game.

actually, most parks you can't "bring a few beers along". most people do, but you're not supposed to.
Drinking in a public park with a bag of frisbees? You're a disc golfer.

Define sport.
Testament31904 1 year ago
well lets put it this way, if this is a sport, then jerking off should be considered one as well.
And the fact that 5 peoples booed me, there must be a group of people desperate to call themselves athletes.
