Twilight Princess: Timesaver After Iron Boots (for 100% speed run)

I have a theory im trying to prove, but im having some trouble doing the bitE glitch here. My theory is that if you get the early master sword, dont clear the faron woods twilight. Instead, beat or at least get the gale boomerang in the forest temple, come here, bitE here, and appear at king bulbin fight( if the game doesnt crash). Beat him and skip the collin cutscene, exit Kakariko, come back in, beat the Twilit Messangers, and then you can warp back and forth and explore the game from there.

@CallofGir I just tried it and my game crashed. Maybe off Ordon bridge? If anyone finds anything with this theory, please let me know.

@CallofGir This won't really help, but I've tested BiTE a lot. I can tell you the places I know it works. Mayor Bo's house, Castle Town (after clearing twilight), Kakariko village, Lakebed temple, Arbiter's Grounds, Temple of Time, Hidden village, just before 2nd goat herding (you end up on Eldin bridge in pitch black, no Epona), City in the Sky (if you save in the first room and do it, it works...if you save after getting the 1st key, then BiTE will crash the game).

@logitechSDAZ So it wont work at the ranch when faron is still in twilight, but it will work after Iron Boots? Ok. Im sorry for the trouble. Like I said before, it was only a theory. But if it did work that`d be pretty cool to exploe some glitches that happen since you didnt clear faron twilight. I know another way out of faron twilight, but as you know, i cant seem to CD Stream. Once again, sorry for all the trouble.

@CallofGir BiTE will work if you have a save inside Mayor Bo's house right after getting iron boots.

@CallofGir If you don't clear Faron twilight, you can't get to Kakariko gorge to defeat the twilit messengers. Kakariko gorge portal is where Midna teaches you D-pad warp portaling. If you don't defeat those messengers, then you can't do map glitch or warp the sky cannon early. I don't even think you can get to Lanayru twilight. Can't get to the Lanayru gate to clip it with Epona, and with no bombs can't blow up the boulder by Eldin bridge to get there the other way.

@logitechSDAZ But what if you do Early master sword? You can transform into a wolf. And if you do BitE, you`ll end up at Bulbin fight and if you beat him Kakariko is in Half Twilight, half not, so you exit into kakariko george and back into Kakariko village and you can kill the twilight messangers in Kakariko village and skip ever even needing the bridge since you can warp (because of early master sword) But you would be skipping the bridge, thus not being able to obtain zora armor.

@CallofGir Ok, let's say you have early master sword and skipped clearing Faron twilight. Then you did BiTE, cleared Kakariko twilight. You still can't get to Lake Hylia. Can't get Barnes' bomb bag because you can't enter Goron Mines with early master sword, which also means you can't blow up the boulder by the Eldin bridge to enter Lanayru twilight. You can't clip Lanayru gate with Epona because there isn't a way to reach it.

@CallofGir Let's say you could reach Lake Hylia and continue on with the game. No map glitch, no zora armor, must rupee dive to enter Lakebed, beat Lakebed without zora armor, beat all of Snowpeak and Temple of Time (can't warp the sky cannon early). And because you have to beat Temple of Time, the only way to get there is with the bow (because of Skull Kid), so you'd still have to do most of Goron Mines. Also, with early master sword, you'd have to enter Goron Mines with the spinner.

@CallofGir Also skipping clearing Faron twilight...you can't learn finishing blow from the golden wolf. You can learn it from a different one though. If you want zora armor, you can't get it because the kakariko gorge bridge won't be there.

This saves quite a bit of time. So this would pretty much mean there are a lot of spots where you can do BiT, right?

@kingnahum17 You can get BiT to work pretty much everywhere you can fall. However, BiTE only works in selected areas. The times BiTE won't work, the game crashes.

Nice to see you finding stuff in TP again, Logitech. Is there anywhere else where using a LJA over a loading zone could be useful?

@Razor7581 Not really. The only reason I see for jumping over a loading zone is to be able to do a BiT(E).
