nokia strong points are : battery life , price range , balanced and the best of all durability ! i had 3 nokia phones till now and all still work perfectly and look pretty good ... i mean i destroyed other phones in moths and these lasted me 2 years and still work ( a nokia 5300 and a e51 that went trough sadistic usage and refuse to die ) i hope this one will be the same because this is why i buy nokia phones

I'm looking to buy this phone because of ots price, processor and design mainly, but also because it's updatable to symbian belle...

The thing that interests me is Nokia's reputation of producing highly durable (battery wise) and quality phones (physically speaking) so does that rep still stands for this phone?

@kayle128 like i said .... i am personally going for SE live with walkman.... as for C6-01 ? i personally would not suggest it...for one...it is more expensive than SE live with walkman.... and in terms of hardware it has lower processor. Secondly it is symbian comparing to Android 2.3 (which i prefer) on SE live....i am on a tight budget and SE live seems like a good value for money

Symbian Anna is really good on the N8, Belle looks even better, i must admit v3 symbian was a little dissapointing till Anna came out

hu-hu-hu. better specs than my samsung ace but at a much cheaper price. why, nokia? why only now? you were my first love. through you I met mobipocket and learned the ecstasy of carrying hundreds of books in my pocket. and then you started to throw s40 phones my way which i found wanting and left much to be desired while android just gave me so much, so much more in terms of apps. eottoke? eottoke? i don't have it in me any more (the money) to buy a new touchscreen phone.

doesn't record in HD like most other Symbian 3 devices, graphics are worse than most Symbian 3, only records at 15fps at 640 x 480, it's a terrible waste of a 1ghz processor

If it has a 1Ghz processor, wouldn't it theoretically be able to run WP7? The only problem is the screen resolution, as far as I know. And how about RAM? How much does phone have?

@Gurksallad10 Well, they're meant to be dropping it in favour of Series 40 at the bottom end and Windows at the top end.. but I think one problem is that it works rather well in this kind of device. Series 40 is really too basic, Windows Phone is too high-end.
