  • The difference is that cellulose does a much better job of stopping air flow through the stud cavity than fiberglass does. If air can't get to the studs or drywall paper they won't burn.

  • Since drywall has paper on it, the paper on the insulation is a mute point. Until that is changed. Plus the studs catch on fire pretty well on their own. Both seem good to use.
