@Dayniac4324 --curtite and Dayniac, I think the song is supposed to be taken as ironic humor. I think the lyrics are very clever. And let's face it, the social commentary still does apply -- there will always be those women who prefer a bad boy over a good man. (girls, I should say.)

I really enjoy this song .. but the lyrics do seem a bit dated .. we've changed our views so much since the 50's. Dated or not I still love these songs !!

@dorisdayno1 Well, Doris certainly had "it". Whatever it is - the camera loved her from the very first moment. She definitely grew as an actress - but her personality literally junped off the screen and grabbed the audience in her very first movie.

Doris Day probably has one of the most "on pitch" voices of any singer who's ever sung -- her notes always have that bell-like quality. Her wonderful expression is also always first rate.

I like to analyze her voice being a singer myself -- I'm always trying to figure out what the "greats" like Doris Day are doing right. Doris Day does everything right!

Lucky me, Toni ... I have you AND I'm the first to comment on your great video!! I love this song and your wonderful images you 'captured' from "Romance On the High Sea's"!!  I think the camera 'loved' Doris Day in this movie, and I always think how much fun the Page Cavanaugh Trio enjoyed working with her here. They received a terrific feature in this movie, didn;t they?
