I already have a pod live x3, which is perfect for recording guitars and bass for me, but I'm really not satisfied with the preamps for vocal. The gain is... Meh, and compression.. Meh. Honestly, my iPhone4 does a better job with it's condenser mic and cheap compressor. So now I wanna go for a condenser mic and good preamps for vocal, with phantom power and good compression. I'm considering the VTB1, the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, the ART Tube PAC and the ART Tube MP Project Series. Any sugestion?
@JBr33zyMusic It depends on what you are recording. If you are doing vocals you will just need a XLR microphone cable. If you are doing a DI (direct instrument) then you will need a instrument (guitar) cable. It also depends on what interface you have. Most of them will have an XLR or/and Instrument input although some interfaces are output only (such as the Native Instruments Audio 2 DJ).
plese dont sing bot only sample
