  • well If redford admires her enough we can use his help to solve her death in 1981 he has to have our back on this one her death was an Intentional homicide and hate crime I figure he might be the best help we can use now RJ would fear redford and deniro since OCCUPY WALL STREET Is in his neighborhood and redford was great friends with natalie wood these two we can use for the 99% to 100% today lets solve this It has been 30 years since she died he needs to back us up.

  • Beautiful tribute...from a classy honest man..

  • why did you go at that boat trip Natalie , when you had such fear for water ?? , R.I.P you wonderful woman :-(

  • Beautiful tribute to my favorite actress. Sad to have the case of her death reopened,

but I never believed she just drowned. As Robert Redford pointed out, she was even

    scared of a swimming pool.

  • wow this is too kool from robert redford

  • Distorted sound, cant understand

  • Did anybody tell Redford that this was supposed to be a tribute to Natalie, and not about HIM in reference to her? She handed him a film career, but when she begged him to do "Ordinary People," he refused her request, though he owed her a HUGE favor. If she'd done that film, it's unlikely that she'd have done "Brainstorm" or met Chris Walken, which means she might still be alive today. Redord is a shit, a world-class shit. I don't see this as a beautiful tribute at all; it's Redford's ego-trip.

  • @edwardjames50 *If,If,sooo dumb, and IF you were not born,or if the boat was being painted,if the car didn't start.See you don't know, maybe he paid her back 3 times over? His studio would not allow it?It's unlikely she what? How the hell do you know? She wanted Brainstorm, loved the script. She knewWalken for tears before. You are a know-it-allwan-a-be.You think by talking about these people, you are part of them.YOUR NOT.People are mad because 2 men didn't keep an eye on her more.DRUNKS.LOSE.

  • @billy1212ist ~ In what grade did you drop out of school?

  • @edwardjames50 * The Rockefeller"s, The Bilderberg Group,The CROWN, The Money Machine,The World Bank, Zeitgeist,and Coral Castle,in Florida,are "some" of what I watched on the WEB, Today.What did you "Watch" or Learn? The Medici Family,was also informative,They paid Michaelangelo,to do ALL of that work for the Vatican,in return,he said,who was to be The Pope.Then He had his SONS,made POPE,Two in a row.He bought land,and was a powerful man,plus much more.2 1/2 times,light speed,is a "parsec"yes?

  • they re-opened the case on her death today

  • Наталья Николаевна Захаренко

  • Lovely video it nearly brought me to tears.

  • I've watched this a million times, I can't get enough. Natalie was really something special. She has this eternal charm that will last forever in her films. And of course Robert Redford is great too. I could listen to his voice all day.

  • Ironically he said she was scared of water how ironic. And yet she suspiciously "fell" over that boat to Catalina.

  • Just saw "this property condemned" Natalie was damn sexy, maybe the sexiest I've ever seen!

  • @deanw0rmer That was my favorite movie of Natalies. And the chemistry between her & Robert Redford was probably one of the best of all films. You got caught up in it:-)

  • She picked him for that role? So in essence she did the same thing for him that Winona Rider did for Christian Bale when she picked him for Little Women. Interesting...

  • These two were hot hot hot! They should have done at least ten more films together.

  • oh wow what a beautiful couple, shame they never got together in real life. In my opinion the most beautiful actor and actress ever

  • Two of my favorites, for always. Talented, funny, beautiful inside & out....I think it is very safe to say there will never be another pair like these two....how good to know they were true friends....thank you for posting

  • To quote himself from "Butch Cassidy" - "You are all mouth."

  • Fuck robert redford. Turning down "Cannibal The Musical." What a sell out bitch. No real appreciation for talent, creativity, or art. Just mouth.

  • Beautiful woman and fantastic actress. I find the comments on here disgusting in the extreme. Its one thing to be a fan and completely another to comment like you were a witness to all events and emotions in her life. Also quite disgusting that the comments including unsubstantiated rumors of her death. Actually I would suggest libelous. Hope her children who KNEW her never read this crud..but if they do hope they track you down and sue your asses. Not to mention the coroner who investigated

  • @chookfeather Her kids were really little when she died. That was in 1981 - almost 30 years ago. Don't know muh about them, except I know they have different dads and that Natalie does not have any grandchildren.

  • @chookfeather , I'm sorry, but it is a fact that Robert Wagner waited for over three hours to notify the Coast Guard of her disappearance, the disappearance of his wife, who had a great fear of water and who could barely swim - there's something wrong with that picture, no matter how you look at it. Natalie should still be here but she's not because of him. His negligence is what is disgusting here. Wagner has done nothing to refute any of this. And your threats are beyond childish.

  • What a nice tribute to Natalie. It makes me sad that she didn't live to make more great movies.

  • this video was so beautiful. it made me tear a bit. I wish they would've reconnected.

  • I am not much of a Redford fan but so think that he and Natalie looked and acted good together. I wish that they would have made more films together. Natalie can make most guys look good on screen

  • @glamourennui ~ Do the research, and read the books. The LA police were sandbagged by the power of celebrity. Her death was NO accident.

  • Someone should have told Redford that this was a tribute to Natalie, and not about him. A true narcissist, he talks more about himself that Natalie. She helped to create careers for both Redford and his pal Sydney Pollack, and in 1980, when Natalie begged Redford to appear as the mother in "Ordinaty People," he turned his back on her. If she had done that movie, she probably wouldn't have done "Brainsrorm," which means she could very possibly be alive today.

  • Class. She had it and he has it.

  • Wow! I enjoyed this. Two legends!

  • Loved that! :)

  • No fan of Robert Redford, but that was one really nice tribute.

  • Beautiful Lady and person. RIP Natalie

  • thanks for having this on, its great.

  • She was beautiful her whole life

  • yeah know natalie graduated high school when she was 16?

  • This is a wonderful tribute to Natalie Wood by Robert Redford; he is truly a class act. I know her passing was described as "strange" as to the circumstances. I doubt if anyone will ever know what really happened. Rest In Peace, Natalie

  • @CurlyHairChris Robert Wagner knows what happened. He's the one who put her in the water.

  • @vanessalove182 You're insane. Sad the way you post this evil shit on every Natalie Wood video.

  • @KellyGreen5555 You don't have a damn clue to what you're talking about. There are witnesses and circumstancial evidence. Do a little research at least. She was MURDERED by Robert Wagner.

  • @vanessalove182 why would RJ murder the mother of his children? he adored her...

  • @scottmanduzy She was NOT "the mother of his children." She was the mother of ONE of his children. And my answer to your question would take too many words to fit this comment. If you really want to know, send me a message and I will do my best to explain there, and provide other links you can check out and people who can ask questions.

  • @vanessalove182 she slipped and drowned, accident, period, case closed move on! 30 years and no new evidence. and Lee harvey killed Kennedy conspiracy theorist!

  • @scottmanduzy I don't give a shit about Lee Harvey Oswald or the late President Kennedy, we are talking about Natalie and she was murdered by Robert Wagner. Four witnesses are polygraph certified and willing to testify against him: Dennis Davern, Marilyn Wayne, John Payne, and Anthony Wayne.

  • This is really nice!!!

  • This Property is Condemned is their greatest:-) Absolutely mesmerizing!! They were both sexy but the chemistry was unbelievable:-)

  • @cmf4321 Agreed

  • Robert makes a comment when he jumps in the pool with Natalie...What he din't know until that day was Natalie couldn't swim.

  • natalie Wood is one of my all time favorite actors and i think, i fell in love with her at first glance due to great acting, and wonderful sense of humanities. she's one of the great one's that just touch your heart and spirit. god bless her for being a gift to all the world and for teaching us how to be better human beings.

  • great little tribute to Natalie by Robert Redford. I LOVE the 2 films they made together. thanks so much for posting this!!!

  • Why? Why did you have to leave us Natalie? You could have done so much more if you had lived. I miss you. I really do. You had so much life....I'm sorry for what happened to you. I can't be at peace until I find out for certain what happened with your death...if all of us ever do....Natalie's movies are great, but it's not the same as having her alive.....God Bless

  • @happygirl419 The sea captain of the boat had a lot to do with her death. Nobody ever saw that the sea captain who was on that very boat with Robert Wagner & their common friend were wrongly accused or it was circulated for a long time. It was truly the sea captain (who sadly did have a mean, sad streak in him & was in a lot of unbearable jealousy & contributed to her death). Robert Wagner suffered a lot after her tragic death.

  • No, she drowned 29 years ago.

  • What's the name of the movie the 2 of them were in together, something about Daisy Clover?

  • 'Inside Daisy Clover'. I love that film.

  • The other with Robert was 'This Property is Condemned'.

  • The only thing that i cant stand in this world is for a favourite actor to grow old.

    I cant stand it.

  • Love this! My two favorite movie stars of all time. How beautiful they were together on film. She was such an underated actress. She should have won so many more awards then she did from her perfomances in Splendor In The Grass and Love With A Proper Stranger. I miss her even after all these years!

  • But she is alive isnt she?

  • true blue movie stars! Both of them so beautiful and talented on screen.

  • why would anyone want to "tame" anyone?

    How wierd.

  • this was a very nice little mini bio on both their careers & history together(which I was unaware of previously)~I only wish it was longer and showed more from their movies together, I'm going to check them out now!

  • Natalie and Robert Redford were the most beautiful on-screen couple of all time! No one compares to them, no one!

  • Natalie and Robert are great actors. Spectacular really. Life is about more than beauty though. Without substance you have nothing. They have alot of substance. Much more than alot. That's what I look for in people. You can have beauty anyday. But what about the rest? They count too. And you have to have both for me to love what I see.

  • These comments make me think: a shame that people who still worship the creator of the universe are mocked by people everywhere, yet people have no probem worshippping two people just because they have good looks.

  • @7beers Calls to mind Yevgeny Yevtushenko's comment (in Russian) to Natalie Wood when he met her: "Now that I have seen your beauty, I can believe in God."

Natalie Wood was (and is) close to God. She loved Psalm 23, and she lived her life with the spirit of love that believers in God are supposed to have.

"Natalie lived more than most of us live. She felt more. She experienced more. She did more and gave more. She created a lot of light with her life. She caught her rainbows."

  • hallelujah brother!! Ii have seen the light and the lord and they both shine brightly Amen

  • True. But I think it's more interest in these people rather than worship.

  • I love you brother .. Jesus will rise to save all man ....for those forsaken by him will repent and feel the wrath of loose bowels!

  • Not possible. He was already married years before they worked together.

  • Yes, but he later divorced her. Unfortunately that didn't happen until after Natalie drowned (not accidently)

  • I always wish Natalie would have married him. He's 2 years older than her it would have been perfect.

  • Not true at all. She only had a high sex drive when she was a teenager and in her early 20s. By the time she made Inside Daisy Clover with him, at 26, she was ready to settle down.

IF she and Chris were lovers (it has never been confirmed) it would have been the 1st time in ten years that she did anything inapropriate with another man. She ALWAYS remained faithful to her 2 husbands unless she had an affair with Chris, which I hope she did.

  • @vanessalove182

" She ALWAYS remained faithful to her 2 husbands unless she had an affair with Chris, which I hope she did."

That's right, Vanessa. And my thought exactly about she and Chris Walken!! (99% sure they had some :-)

  • It's a shame she's dead. I don't believe the official story on how she died. She was afraid of water, so why would she go and untie the dinghy on her own? I believe she was accidentally killed and 3 people know the truth: the captain on board the yacht, Christopher Walken and Robert Wagner.

  • a lot of people believe that. the stupid police did a bad job. she was murdered by robert wagner

  • @vanessalove182 Actually Robert Wagner did not murder her. The entire public was lead to believe because of all the rumours. There were not 3 in the boat (Robert Wagner Nathalie & their mutual friend who was not a nice man...but there was a 4th person, the sea captain of the boat...who was quite aware of the real circumstances of her death. Robert Wagner was & is innocent of her drowning.

  • I always enjoyed the movies they acted together in. They had a personal click that you don't see all the time. RIP Natalie you will always remain beautiful!

  • man, that is welldone...of course i'm jealous of these successful goodlooking and famous and rich people, but...i also like them a lot...and man oh man what i would do to natlaie wood...ok, i should be quiet

  • LOve Daisy Clover and Natalie was pretty good in it. RIp Natalie. Your star didnt burn for that long. R Redford your an Icon and in Daisy Clover you could see your wonderful acting ability and your sense of conection the Natalie and to the audience. You have always had everything it took for greatness and always will. Your my Fav Actor and an amazing man in every way. An inspiration.

  • yeah it is too bad but she is greatly remembered. she hardly worked for 10 years so she could have babies. she turned down bonnie and clyde, butch cassidy + the sundance kid, the great gatsby, barefoot in the park, the towering inferno.....

  • @vanessalove182 yeah it is too bad but she is greatly remembered. she hardly worked for 10 years so she could have babies. she turned down bonnie and clyde, butch cassidy + the sundance kid, the great gatsby, barefoot in the park, the towering inferno.....

    My reply to Vanessalove183

Oh those were the great movies of the era,....which we never see in the current days...I love your comments for the above for I share the same sentiments. Thx

  • красивая могла бы быть пара

  • RIP Natalia..I love you, R. Redford...

  • Imagine the children Redford & Wood would have made.

  • they would be gorgeous! i never understood why they didn't hook up, they were PERFECT for each other!

  • @KleWdSide Did she have any kids?

  • @babaluboo123. Yeah. Two. Natasha Gregson-Wagner is considerably known.

  • @KleWdSide Thanks. Gotta do a wiki...

  • @babaluboo123 she had 2 daughters: Natasha Gregson (father is Richard Gregson) and Courtney Wagner (father is Robert Wagner). However she has no grandchildren.

  • @KleWdSide imagine the dissapointment...

  • @KleWdSide

Yeah, hes like brad pitt and shes angelina jolie

  • @maeflower522 I get your point, but they were way better looking than Pitt & Jolie.

  • @KleWdSide I have no doubt they tried to once or twice.

  • That was beautiful!

  • RIP Natalie Wood. You are sorely missed.

  • Is that woman at 4:37 pushing her glasses up with her middle finger?

  • Two of the most beautiful people on screen together...Natalie Wood and Robert Redford. I think they are much more sexy than Jolie and Pitt....and much more naturally mesmerizing...

  • @cmf4321

ITA. They had fantastic chemistry in This Property is Condemmed

  • @citybeat60 To me, that movie is one of the greatest love stories told. I absolutely LOVED that movie. I saw that movie as a child and it is still my favorite movie made by Robert Redford or Natalie Wood. The chemistry is unbelievable. Today's movies don't compare. You could FEEL the chemistry from the 1st moment they met.

  • @cmf4321 Same here, I watched it with my mom, lol and it is my favorite movie of those two as well. They made a beautiful couple.

  • @cmf4321 Yes, but more so - Warren Beatty and Natalie Wood.

  • @cmf4321 I agree, great chemistry there. Lobe both of them. Hope that have had an affair!!!!

  • @cmf4321 Natalie and Robert were/are "larger than life." I recently worked on a show in which Redford appeared with Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward when they were in Austin doing a symposium on "All the President's Men." He still has that undeniable larger-than-life star quality about him. I've always admired Redford, especially in "Jeremiah Johnson" and The Sting." Unlike Jolie and Pitt, Redford and Wood always had that larger-than-life quality about them, because of the film work they've done

  • Redford a class act. Interesting to hear

    about their lives together.

  • its creepy how her worse fear killed her R.I.P. natalie <3

  • Bob, you left out the part where Natalie wanted to play the role of the mother in your film "Ordinary People" and you, the good friend, gave it to Mary Tyler Moore instead. "I wish our paths could have crossed again," you claim. Your paths did cross, Bob, and after all she did for your career, you rejected her.

  • Perhaps Robert Redford, the director of the film, thought she wasnt quite right for the role? Perhaps youd like an apology for him doing his job as a director and putting qualified people in his film rather than good friends.

  • No, I wouldn't. And she was HIGHLY qualified.

  • Two rare birds. Natalie was a timeless, stunning beauty. Not dated at all like so many would be. Robert Redford? Hottest guy ever.

  • Natalie wood reminds me of Katie Holmes just one big movie going on.........same looks I hope she does the Movie roll of her life work well....

  • 5.21 where did you get that picture?

  • Natalie was a rare beauty such a great loss,Robert isn't bad on the eyes either very handsome. Two attractive people that complimented each other well.

  • complemented

  • that was wonderful. I didn't know they were such good friends. Natalie seemed like the kind of cool girl who could get along with the boys as friends.

  • She was brilliant, so beautiful and what I fantastic actress. She should have won at least 3 Oscars.

  • Natalie was so beautiful...one of the most beautiful in the world in my opinion. And Robert Redford..wow..they were great together.

Too bad we didn't see them together again. Losing her was such a loss..I cried so hard..p

  • I cried, too. I adored her.

  • What a Lovely Insight to a Very Underated Actress.

  • WOW ! My two favorite stars here on one video. I love them both. I am sooo lucky because I have twin grandaughters that look identical to Natalie.

  • NATALIE WOOD..absolutely gorgeous !!and those eyes !

  • Definitely have to see 'Inside Daisy Clover'... looking forward to it.

  • Hey, dummy, your paths COULD have crossed again had you hired her for Ordinary People!!

Having said that, I always laugh during that scene in Inside Daisy Clover where Natalie is hanging our the car window saying she's going to make a noise in the world,, because it looks like she's about to make a noise on that streetlight!

  • LOL, I agree. She would have been spectacular in Ordinary People.

  • MTM was perfect in that role. You don't improve on perfection.

  • Unless you hired Natalie...

  • It did look like she was going to get knocked out by the streetlight.

  • Natalie is my favorite. Thanks for posting such a special tribute to her.

  • this was a reli reli moving video..thanks so much for posting. im a huge fan of natalie and have always wanted to learn more about her apart from her movies. what a shame she died so young.

  • Really special of Robert Redford to share his private memories of Natalie with the rest of the world. Thank you, for posting this.

  • This was lovely and deeply moving! Thank you to Mr. Redford for sharing his memories of this greatly missed actress, and thanks to the poster for sharing!

  • Daisy Clover? Is this where she is in a beach cabin and it blows up at the end and everyone thinks she is dead....except the sand and the waves?

  • Es increíble lo feo que era ROBERT REDFORD cuando estaba en el High School, gordito y Cachetón. Era un Pato Feo, que de maduro se convirti óen un CISNE...

  • "Blue eye'd boy meet's a brown eye'd girl-- Oh sweetest thing." Very touching, they definitely had chemistry!

  • Sweet. Robert is sexy, and Natalie is greatly missed.

  • this was beautiful. i love the way he speaks of her. :)

    thank you!

  • This Property Is Condemned is my favorite movie of Natalie's and Robert Redford. He had the best chemistry ever with Natalie in that film.

  • oh...mine too.....i've watched it 10000 times....love the movie...robert and natalie one of the most beautiful movie couples....too bad they never ended up together...r.i.p natalie...robert i love you....

  • This Property is not Condemned was 1 of my fave Nat movies and it was a bomb at the box office.Daisy Cover was also a disaster but that was a bad script and bad editing, both Nat and Robert were great in both movies.Natalie Wood was a very underrated actress but I am glad she has not been exloited since her death. Her death is another 1 of Hollywods famous coverups. We will never know what really happened but I know she drowned because she was ignored by her husband and Asshole Walken.

  • Thank you to Robert for remembering Nat the way she really was! :):):)

  • Such a tribute to Natalie - From Redford. Proof that men and women can be FRIENDS!

  • Wood would have been 70 this year!

  • that was really nice- thanks

  • They worked so well together and shared a genuine friendship.

  • Wow, if Mary Tyler Moore was not cast in the lead for Ordinary People (where she was chillingly unforgettable by the way) he could have cast Natalie. Just a thought.

Nat, you left us too soon. Why am I so obsessed with you?

  • Sweet. Both great actors, and boy do they look good together on these photos. I've seen This Property is Condemned, with the two, but that is all. Thanks.

  • its such a nice narration done by mr. redford... they're such nice couple... very candid and have a nice rapport

  • nice

  • I absolutely LOVE this movie...I cry EVERY time!!!

  • That was beautiful! Thanks for posting it.

  • TCM needs to start playing this again instead of the same people over and over. Thanks 4 postin;)

  • Since I dig Redford better than Wagner, I'd say Robert knows what he's saying *WINK*!!!!

  • Both of them are named Robert! Lol!

  • Thank you so much for posting this! I've been dying to see it for ages! :)

  • Audio isn't so good, but otherwise this is priceless! Thank you for posting.

  • thank you so much! this was adorable!

  • THANK YOU! <3
