@xed482 Fabregas was a completely different player when he arrived to what he is now. At Barcelona he was the closest you can be in midfield to becoming a striker, he was also quite soft and mostly based on skills. The likelyhood is that if he went straight into Barca without coming to Arsenal, he would be just as bad a diving pussy as Pedro and Busquets, but he is not. Wenger taught him confidence, he is more of a physical player now, and he often plays more of a holding role a bit further back

I'm norwegian as well and in every norwegian newspaper, rumours say that Brede Hangeland is just coming closer and closer to Arsenal.. Fulham has set a price at 14-15 million, so we'll just wait and see what happens ; )

I think he's better too but I think kalou is the better choice. First of all kalou 8 to 10 mil pounds, huntelaar 17 to 21 mil plus bonuses secondly sure huntelaar is a great finisher but he would have to adapt to the PL and he would always be on the first team and we have eduardo great finisher. With kalou it would seriously put bendtner and vela to work to fight for that 3rd striker role. Kalou would be perfect because he has PL experience and I watched last season and trust me he's worth it

If Vela steps up this season, we have about 30 million to use on another defender. I'd love to see Brede Hangeland, but he's cup-tied in CL now :( But would love to see him anyway. He would kill every corner and freekick against us and stop that problem we have. We use about 10 mill on Matuidi, and Vieira. Then we have about 30 million to spend on a new defender (Hangeland). Then we have a really strong squad towards this season. I'd love to see this happen.

Because I think we are coming up a bit short up front this season.. Yes we have quality strikers in Van Persie, Bendtner, Vela and Eduardo.. But Eduardo is probably the only one who is a real goalscorer, who scores in almost every chance he gets.. We have Carlos Vela too, his a goalscorer, but if we are not going to replace Adebayor, Carlos Vela needs to have his breakthrough this season. We'll see how he does in the Emirates Cup. He's an insane talent, and in form he's world class !

Totally agree with Huntelaar that guy is a scoring machine we NEED to secure him as quick as possible because I don't think bendtner is ready to step up yet as a regular at arsenal and Vela is still adapting to the PL. I like Wenger a lot but he made a mistake letting flamini go he was perfect and Lassana Diarra is probably in the top 5 at his role at the moment.
