@jumpersunite remember performing parkour doesnt mean you have to be as high off the ground. it can easily be done without being on a building. safety should always be first.
when you are in mid-air and feels it, it means your subconciousness already nerfed your jump before you left the ground! o.o
sometimes fear works the other way around, when you feel it you prepare for it and tries your max at a jump that didn't need that much energy, then your landing zone passes by and you fall on the other side
so parkour is about knowing your body and controlling it, not just unleashing all your power at once.
for me, i just dont do the move until i think im ready....i want to do this precision with a pretty decent sized gap, but sense its kinda high i fear ill slip and fall....how would i work up to that
practice it (the size of the gap) at ground level a few times, then find things a few inches tall to practice on, then keep upping the height until you feel comfortable performing the maneuver.
Good vid. A few things though: if you're talking to the camera, 1. look at it, and 2. get a standalone mic, or do something to filter out the wind and bg noise. It kinda ruined the intro. Also, I'm not quite sure how this vid talked about overcoming fear. No worries though, just some stuff I noticed, not trying to dig on you guys at all. Keep up the good work. =)
There seems to be an opinion that you should learn to link moves together early on in your training, but the more I look the more I see that everything is connected and it's actually impossible to separate and train just one move alone. Breaking things down allows you to focus on the areas you are weakest in and have a greater understanding of movement overall.
good vid i gotta remember to break it down lol i rush a lot of things but most of those are easy and i practice the moves that they mainly need as well.......

Person 1: Aren't you ever afraid of anything for Parkour?
Person 2: Nope, Not at all. I'm not afraid of progressing and overcoming.
