  • What about Operation Rolling Thunder, That was far me expensive.

  • The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II program was a fairly expensive mistake.

  • Oh that's why when I called in my Stealth Bomber in MW2 it didn't show up.

  • i wonder how many poor people 1.4 billion dollars could help...

  • Fourteen thousand Millions..

    1,400,000,000

Erased by the steam of a poor mans piss...

  • Good pilots, anyway...they stuck with it until they had no choice to eject. I guess they do choose the best for those things. As for "picture perfect takeoff", anyone who knows anything about flying can see that it rotates way too far way too soon...there's obviously trouble even before it begins to lose altitude.

  • a billion dollar fucking hole in the ground - how many schools could've used that money for books and more teachers?

  • @kingalow1 You mean hoe many more teachers could have padded their retirement ? and how many more admin and how many more vice principals? or green school buildings that aren't more efficient?

  • America: The best of the best

  • Built by the LOWEST BIDDER....

  • @SDLively Why do people always say that? America doesn't buy from the lowest bidder, they do the exact opposite. The more they spend the better, and the more bucks the politicians get out of the deal. The F-16 was supposed to be a simple, cheap plane...that didn't last long. They spent 5x the projected budget making the multi-purpose F-111, and then went and built all the planes it was supposed to replace anyway. And so on. Can anyone say "F-22"? Or how about "F-35...Failure Waiting To Happen"?

  • wohoooo 9er kill-streak thats myyy stealth bomber hahaha

  • wow moisture. that goes to show you that you dont name anything after Kansas. the B2 doesnt even like Kansas

  • Haha that would suck uhhh Sgt. we had a little accident .....

  • There goes your fucking tax dollars! :D

  • at 0:24 theres more than 8 billion dollars on your screen

  • moisture in the electronics ? ? ? ? well we do use the cheapest bidder for our astronauts space suits......shit ill never make enough money to pay for the stealth....lol

  • i bet the pilots were PISSED

  • 1.4 billion dollars in planes but a shitty camera.

  • Glad the pilots got out alright.

  • Great, it crashed because the air data sensors were wet after a heavy rain.

One thousand, four hundred million dollars down the drain - so to speak.

  • I'm sure that didn't look good on their OER

  • Windows.

  • goin to war is biggest waste!

  • I hate people that complain about tax dollars. In reality, you are giving like .0002 cents.

  • @3ISAMAGICNUMBR WOW what a great answer Well said. I have to steal that one lol

  • 1.4 billion and i can see it crash

  • @frisko129 1.4 billon each

  • didnt an F117 crash in Baltimore sometime ago in a residential area of some kind? I figured that would have been more expensive

  • That one plane crash could have paid for the entire California public school budget for a year.

  • thats why i hate fly by wire

  • 1:53: is that the canopy and the pilot they have circled? It looks like the second pilot ejected right after that shot.

  • Oh man, i like your americans, and special, your military forces. Your so funny, with all you doing. You winning a war, when the enemy is laughung dead.

  • @ThePandoraGuy No matter how good your military is, accidents happen

  • @trivipesnipe Yeah i know, and they doo. Lets see, a shit i forgot the Warning Sarcastic Stuff above. Sorry.

But i like your reaction, its very calm. Thumps up man.

  • @ThePandoraGuy Yes, I know it was sarcasm, but getting pissed about someone elses thoughts on the internet just isn't worth it.

  • @trivipesnipe Thats right. Im proud of you. Really.

  • raising a retard like you was the most expensive mistake,

and btw the name of the video is bull shit

  • I thought it was moisture in the pitot tube sensors that caused this.

  • Yeah I remember reading about this program and the forcasted cost for upkeep into the next century. The price kept going up and up and up...they kept citing maintenence costs as the culprit.

  • I was there the day before. Heard about it after we landed in Atsugi.

  • Am I the only one to see something flaking off the aircraft at 1:20 ?

  • t5239857289578947594, i think those are vapes from major low pressure above the wing during that radical rotation. as the vapor hits the jet exhaust it flashes away quickly, looking like tumbling debris. far as i can tell anyway. haven't read anything this crash.

  • @2ndAsstJizzMopper wow you actually wrote out his screen name. You could've just hit reply. meow :) oh BTW you got a kickass screen name yourself 2ndAsstJizzMopper.

  • repoman83, i did hit reply, than i deleted the idiot @. please don't mock my occupation. i live with it as if with a curse.

  • @2ndAsstJizzMopper Yes,I think you are right.

  • @t5239857289578947594

    not any more

  • @emitreppotz

Yes, I've heard that they both were impossible to fly without the computers, along with the B-2. I suppose that the same would be true of all the big passenger jobs, too. Luckily, triple redundancy in circuits is the norm.

  • Warthog is another that cannot fly without computer, too inherently unstable. Still, both are wonderful for what they were designed for.

  • @rbilzing im not sure however ive read that the stealth bomber (f-117? i cant remember lol) was the worst of them all as far as stability

  • Moisture in the computer....moisture in the computer....

Are you kidding me? I understand things can malfunction in military hardware but moisture in the computer caused this terrible loss? What hope do these "high tech" machiens have when bullets are fired at them?

I am glad those pilots are ok. And I am also glad the crash did not occur in a populated area.

  • @Superegio42: You ask yourself what hope these "high tech"machines have when bullets are fired at them?

Well, None. Their skin is to delicate.

  • sorry about that guys. I was looking at a porno while repairing the electronics and got a little excited. It won't happen again.

  • top cool, i like it

  • pilots didnt eject just because the wing was scraping ground, but because due to the computer malfuction THEY COULD NOT CONTROL THE PLANE

controlling these things without computers is quite extreme there's many things pilot can do, that causes the plane to go out of control for example stalling in this kind of plane means backflip and crash. computers are there to stop pilot doing anything wrong, also it is the computers that relay the things pilot wants to do to the plane's control surfaces.

  • The wing was scraping the ground the dude was like EJECT!

  • The stealth bombers are so naturally unstable that they rely on the autopilots and autotrims to maintain control of the aircraft, and if they malfunction the pilots have no hope of controlling it.

  • and america wonders why there economy's in shit

  • @Kizz7773 Good point.

  • People must accept that modern day aircrafts are flown by computers. If your computer fails, you have to make about 30 stick movements per secont to keep flying, and all of them to the correct direction. Since human brain needs at least 0.1 second to take input from the sences and proccess it, and another 0,1 second to sent a commant to the muscle, you understand that this is impossible

  • n00bs :P

  • Moisture in the electronics......

  • standard fault for a 1.4b toy

  • Amateurs!!!

  • New warfare.... mold against the machine!

  • fake

  • @shapst

    Lol

  • DAMNNNNNNNNNNNN

  • so many say that he lifted too fast...

that is not some san andreas miniplane! -.-

  • why is it so hard to believe? an icecube in the atlantic sunk the biggest ocean liner of its time....a 5 dollar O ring caused the shuttle to explode....a knot in a rope caused a mountain climber to die 15 feet from safety.....its the little things that make the difference......

  • @fowzie777 The little things is right. Always remember; You can sit on top of a mountain, but you cannot sit on a pin..... :..:

  • @fowzie777 an "ice cube"

    yeah...

  • @fowzie777 What's this about the knot?

  • I looked like the plane was at too steep an angle of attack. I am sure it stalled.

  • @TheMaxx111 It doesn't matter if it did or not, the computer was malfunctioning. It was uncontrollable...

  • since that no one have seen those two pilots...

  • yea i agree, im not going to completely blame the pilot on this one, modern planes are so advanced that they almost fly themselves. i think it was the plane that was at fault.

  • There go my fucking tax dollars :/

  • @jajkic0732 its ok, they can always buy more.

  • what a load of bull. they pulled up too fast. condensation my arse

  • @TheCookedbread You have to realize, as with all flying wing designs, control surfaces are critical. Most of the settings for these surfaces for takeoff and landing are controlled by the computers onboard not the pilots. Pilot error is a lot less likely nowadays since the computers will not allow most of the dangerous scenarios to play out without exerting mandatory control actions. Like it or not most planes now rely on computers for basic and advanced flight systems operations.

  • @TheCookedbread the aerodynamics are to unstable. pilots aren't allowed to touch the stick on this bad boy during take off or landing. they have to turn over control to a special take off or landing program.

hell pilots are only there to crash the thing incase something goes wrong. like the damm thing decides to bomb a minimall or something like that.

  • MOISTURE did that.... wow it will be useless in Vietnam or some African or even south american country

  • god bless AMERICAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • god bless AMERICAAAAAAAA

  • if they lost total control of the airplane then why were the flaps responding in the proper way?

  • @marilyn69manson cause that's what you call a stall when the airflow is turbulent or even broken above the wing resulting in unfective controls due to non fluid air flow... Causing the loss of control. Is the same thing with spins... try to recover a spin with the airlerons and it will only get whorse...

  • Now it really is a spirit....

  • the spirit of kansas is now gone!!!!!

  • must be running windows

  • These aircrafts are the ugliest in aviation history.

  • YOu think that B-2 has enough fuel to make it Half way across the U.S. from Guam??? lol NO, it Cant mid air refuel... hahaha GRAVITY GENERATOR

  • Shit happens. What bothers me is the word "costed" in the description of the video.

  • What crappy plane names. D<

  • I wonder if this was covered under warranty??

  • 1.4 billion dollars and a lil moisture brings down the plane. lol i have a mickey mouse watch that still works with lil moisture in it.

  • @pgtv69 moisture got into the electronics. anything electronic will malfunction when it comes in contact with moisture.

  • @WingItBaby a little WD-40 will solve that problem lol

  • @pgtv69 OMG LOL

  • @WingItBaby just like coming in contact with pussy, big head malfunctions as the little head takes over and ruins your life ...lmao

  • lol "costed"

    someone's a nigger

  • he get fired?

  • @twizy123 Yeah, right out of the cockpit.

  • @doodydude234 I'd much rather have spent money on this than mindlessly shoveling it at the poor, who just proceed to breed more poor. A lot of highly skilled people made a decent living designing, building, and testing this jet. Besides the only reason it is so expensive is the R&D costs to create all the technologies needed to make it work were spread over only 21 airframes. The original plan to build many more would have dropped the per unit cost dramatically.

  • @Zuloff Or how about the people who want it pay for it without the poor people's money?

  • Just think of the people who have staved to death because there was no money for food when you watch this video....No military needs a plane this expensive.

  • @doodydude234 how about poor ppl get off their ass, stop holding their hand out to our tax money and then go get a fucking JOB! ever think about that? why dont u go work ur ass off for 40 years and try and make 1.4 billion $ then go give it all to ppl dong nothing but waiting for u to give them a hand out. thats why we have so many poor ppl in this country. they all want the fruit of everyone elses labor and the fuckin government gives it to them.

  • @strongbad73 Agreed man... some people don't care about the cost of freedom. They would rather make stupid statements like "Gimme some of dat Obama money." This country is going to shit just like what happened in Britain.

  • @strongbad73 isn't exactly what our nation does to us? income tax isn't even approved but we're forced to pay it anyways.

  • @thelaughingman79 i have no idea what u just said.

  • they are actually 737 mil

  • @compute9 The plane itself maybe. But I'm sure there are damage repairs among with other things associated with the crash.

  • Tried to climb to hard at takeoff. Wind tubulated over the wing, and actually pushed down the airplane.

  • Serbia bombed a couple of those back in the kosovo war back in the 1990's

the pilot was brave to try to fix the problem

  • not the pilots fault each of these planes rely on computers to fly without the computers they turn into huge helicopter blades

  • The female pilot who flew this bomber forgot to change her dirty tampon a day late; diaper rash can cause you dearly on whatever your daily responsibilities!!!

  • poor pilot :-(

this plane can't fly without computers...

    noone can....

    so stop blame the pilots...

  • 1.4 billion dollars gone up in smoke. That's $1, 400, 000, 000

  • 1.4 billion dollars gone up in smoke. People that's $1400, 000, 000

  • military oriented technological achievements: wonderful

purpose of military technological achievements: retarded

  • it cost 400,000 to fly this plane for 12 seconds

  • buy planes that are made in china! too cheap! XD

  • Computer says noo...

  • @triathlete77 haha exactly

  • It may have been expensive, but both pilots got out alive, so it could have been worse.

  • answer: buy discount planes. not so expensive to fix.

  • damn that money could ecudate a lot of human beings and make us even better. shame. beatiful engineering though

  • @rushofspeed - Yes it could educate people and make them better, possibly teach them how to spell and punctuate too.

  • idk i think the pilot just follows procedures and has experience enough, i don't think you should/could blame him. It's bassicly the info and weather wich are bad. He makes the decision to eject on the correct time.

  • Fly by Wire!

  • i thought george bush was the most expensive accident in the US!

  • We could get the Chineese to build them for us for half the price.

  • Not just any pilot flies this things

  • this aircraft costed.........???

  • @gregrutz what part of 1.4 billion dollars did you not get?

  • @PlaylistWorld what part of 'there is no such word as 'costed' did you not get?

  • @gregrutz Sorry, most of the people on Youtube are retarded little kids who don't know proper "Engrish". I assumed you were one of them.

  • cutting edge design?....the flying wing has been around for 60 years.....

  • B-2s cost 2.4 billion dollars not 1.4 billion.

  • Bye bye 1.4 Billion plane..

  • As i posted earlier, the investigation pointed to an air data problem due to water in the sensors. To the "they pulled too much" crowd; that's easy to do when you're expecting a certain pitch rate on rotation and you get way too much due to faulty calculations making the jet way too sensitive. Look up the crash of the X-31 near Edwards, similar problem.

  • @Zuloff ,no the plane IS sensitive and different circumstances or faulty calculations make the plane react different then expected.

  • In fly by wire.. If the pilot pull up before it reach enough lift force the computer should warning. Maybe the got some wrong in there, Another was a turbulence in the runaway itself. thus has been many cause for the aircraft accident. Failed to warn the pilot about the low pressure air in front of them and thus will lower lift force and stall the plane. in stall there's no need to recover that plane with just that height. It's nearly impossible. And there goes tax payers money...

  • These planes are fly-by-wire, meaning that the controls are not directly linked to the flaps, ailerons etc. They areinstead processed by computer to give a smoother pilot experience - you point it goes, don't worry about how. In theory, they are almost stall-proof, and will at least warn you if it is about to happen. I still say they pulled up too sharply and too soon instead of letting the plane take off on its own. I believe the rotate is more pilot initiated in a fly-by-wire configuration.

  • damn. 1.4billion? i wish i was the owner of boeing

  • Except B2's were built by Northrup

  • "Computer error?" Bullshit. The air force can't afford to fire a pilot after all that expensive training. They pulled back too hard on the stick. It's clear for anyone to see. They caught the tail and/or lost velocity through too much flare. Should have used flaps instead if the runway was short. But good riddance to a killing machine.

  • Oh yeah, they did pull too hard... Well, there goes 1.4 Billion!

  • HAHAHAAHAHAHAH are you seriously critisizeing a professional millitary piolet that has had years and years of training, and im sure had many many sucessfull flights??? wow.... i doubt you can even fly a plane at all!!!

  • @unclepoepoe uhm dude its not there problem the system didn't work so

  • they should have just lower the right wing and at least try to save that 1.4 billion dollar machine

  • 1.4 billion?

Dood....this plane could be cheaper if it was made of SOLID GOLD.

  • but... that would be too heavy.

  • i hope the military isnt going to bill the losses to the pilot's or their going to be in debt for the rest of their lives... lol

  • "liberating" xDDD

    u mean killing 5yo children

  • @sorsorsor11 if theyre lucky.... :/

  • Heard of the British empire? Great Britain is far more experienced than usa in combat! America is a fairly new country to us. Our navy force is way more experienced! These dates go back before America was even fucking established. Us Scots where fighting off the English years before America even got discovered! Get your history facts right.

  • Yes but most of your experience is with swords, muskets cast iron cannons and massive navel guns that have no use today. The U.S and Great Britain are allies and shear there experiences.

  • @theSuperace. You will find the Americans came in late to the war and only after the Japanese bombed you. We have far more military expierence than you guys and even train your air force. As usual typical yank thinks America is most important country in world.

  • @thequoz

Yes, we did come in late but good god when we did we kicked ass liek there was no tomorrow, we wanted to stay neutral as America wasn't one for war then. But when we were bombed we took on the Japanese by ourself and won. No one even thought of invading Europe until we joined. I'd like to see where your getting your facts about the training because last I saw the only other country we sent out recruits was Germany. You have way less combat experience than the US, we have gone into

  • @TheSuperiorAce

multiple countries since WWII, and are still being deployed today. I don't think America is the best but before we had Barrack the magic niger we were all for liberating and protecting countries that had suffered through an enourmus amount of hardship.

  • Why everyone chatting shit about WW2? All of you would be dead.. if you was in WW2. "When we did join we kicked ass" no you didnt. You had to fucking nuke them so they couldnt fight you anymore.

At the end of the day WW2 was a while ago now and US will never have the same combat experiance.

US veiw on War = Shoot as many bullets as possible n hope they land somewhere near the enemy.

UK veiw on War = Take your time and kill the enemy not your own Men.

  • @WeedSmoker131 this is true...

but the UK whould have lost the WW2 without the USA

  • And the USA very kindly charged Britain for every penny spent, which Gordon Brown has just finished paying back half a century later.

  • ahahah did the USA really charged them for every penny spent??

if they did then why??, i mean USA loves to go to other countries and do what they want over there, USA should have payed the UK for letting htem in!!! lol

  • America is the best at failing to.

  • The failure was moisture in the air data sensors causing the computers to have an inaccurate reading of the airflow over the nose. Heaters are supposed to keep it out but they apparently weren't on. This causes the FCS to inaccurately position the flight controls. The cost was largely due to unit cost skyrocketing when they chopped the order to 21 jets. Build more and you spread R&D cost out.

  • spending money on planes like these are why america is the most prosperous country in the world. thats why everyone who needs help comes to america. america is the best so stfu.

  • That doesn't really make any sense, but Happy New Year anyway!!! :D

Too bad we are bankrupt. Maybe we can sell our B-2s when our debts come due.

  • The US has been in debt since it was created in 1776.

  • Alot of Countrys are in debt you just dont hear about it alot

  • uh yeah that was my point. debt wont stop the US from anything.

  • ur point is?

  • You must be about 12, and have the IQ of a drunk monkey.

  • have you ever visited another country ? do it , and you will realize how fucking stupid is to spend 1.4 billion dollars in a plane, while so many people are living in misery around the world..

you americans are sometimes so fucking selfish.

    greetings from chile

  • @lalobasscl Hey! Fuck Chile! Go Big Or Go Home

  • im so happy where i am, now i realize how fucking sad is to live in USA, when there are such ASSHOLES like you walking arround..

    so fuck YOU

  • @lalobasscl

Do you know why we need to spend 1.4 billion on one plane? To protect ourselves from all those people in the world who hate America and wish to see it destroyed, e.g. Iran, and to liberate all those those who are suffering from such tyranny that Barrack the magic niger is trying to impose on us. You and "thequoz" need to pull your heads out of your asses and open your eyes.

  • Can you imagine how brainwashed it is to use the money on these unnecessary killing machines? How many children in developing countries could not the money saved?

    -shameful!

Is there anyone here who thinks there are brainwashed?
