Well WDOA in this clothes might be a little bit strange at first, but I think we got used to him in a suit or tux over the years, so it wasn't too bad.

And he sang it beautifully.

And about the hair......well Tico lost his hair too and now it's back, so there is still hope..... ;)

I'll tell you this: I'm not a great Bon Jovi fan. But I love this song. And Jon does a beautiful job with this, and proves he is not merely a pretty boy with interesting hair.
