@Beastfromabove It's very much about the quality of songs. Guiding Light for example, does not stack up well against anything of Absolution or Origin of Symmetry. Feeling Good being the exception of Origin, it should never have happened. Neutron Star Collision just reused the drumtrack from Knights of Cydonia and called it a day. Invincible takes forever to get going and in the end it still leaves you disappointed and confused.
Matt wrote this in 2009 after breaking up with his girlfriend. He did NOT WRITE IT FOR TWILIGHT. Christ almighty.
It's a great song, I don't give a shit which movie used it.

twilight and NSC did not make muse. it just opened it up to a new fanbase. if you really knew the fans you would understand we have connections.they would be just as popular without twilight. personally i think that muse and twilight fans should be part of different dimensions.

I've never even heard of someone liking Bella, so... Yes, I do suppose I like "the lame story." However, I do take interest in many, many other things. My life doesn't revolve around that series.

@Beastfromabove It's very much about the quality of songs. Guiding Light for example, does not stack up well against anything of Absolution or Origin of Symmetry. Feeling Good being the exception of Origin, it should never have happened. Neutron Star Collision just reused the drumtrack from Knights of Cydonia and called it a day. Invincible takes forever to get going and in the end it still leaves you disappointed and confused.
