There is a theory that the origin of the Nazca lines came from ancient nazcans coming across boulder scrapes from glaciers and maybe thinking it was the work of the gods. First imitating or developing existing lines then evolving over time to complicated designs.

Boulders being scraped across the bed rock do create straight lines and it is the logical explination, but if you follow the lines back at the angle they are,they will come to a point. This could be a glacier running over a hill or small mountain and as the glacier expands and grows in all directions it spreads the boulders apart at a constant rate. The crossing vertical lines are maybe the retreat of the glacier. Very interesting that these lines have the same point of origin though. Nice one.

The lines are ruts formed by water erosion over millions of years , the " roo " is formed by vehicle or boat tracks in the soft lake bed , check the authors other bogus videos e.g orb photography and you can see her throwing water up in the air before the shot was taken - sheesh you people !

It is most likely just tracks from geo-surveys or a joke/hoax like this brilliant one, The Marree Man. That salt lake does fill every decade or so and when it does those line will vanish. Suggesting the aboriginals did anything as sophisticated as the people of Peru is insulting to the people of Peru who did have a culture that was far more advanced.

@mulcontent The Australian aboriginals had no system of writing, no shared language (+300) different ones and no mathematical ability, which places them squarely in the Neolithic whereas the people in Peru were far more modern and had developed all of the above.

I'm Peruvian and the nazca lines form a piece of a radio circuit...nobody can explain that plus the figures of astronauts and devices .this could be alien and that's the reason why we have the oldest city in the Americas dated 5000 bc ,older than Egyptians .a twelve angle rock part of a wall in Cuzco perfectly shaped a nail cannot fit thru it's edges...this lines are indeed alien

You really need to learn a little more about Aboriginal culture and history, especially about how the Aboriginals view their environment and the world around them. If you were to come over here to Australia and propose that these patterns were created by Aborigines to mark out the stars and cosmos, you would be laughed out of the country!

Where did you get that from? I spent a few years working & exploring remote areas of the WA / NT Border country. Seen plenty of ancient art, Never anything even remotely Egyptian in origin however I'm intrigued!.

They do not compare to Nazca lines in Peru at all! Lines in Peru are sharp and there are clear shapes. I am sure there is an geological explanation to the the phenomenon in Austalia which has something to do with limestone structure !

Hi pleiadestars, the markings are interesting, but I have your answer. In 1964 the Commonwealth detonated balistic missiles at Percival Lakes - that exact location. It was called Project Blue Streak, and the missiles were launched from the Woomera missile range in S.A. These lines are obviously ejecta rays from the explosions.

Kangaroos cannot tuck their tails between their legs either (that's if i'm "seeing the roo" properly). Looks like 4wd tracks from one of the many reconnissance missions.. The Percival lakes area was inhabited by aboriginals. When the surveyors were investigating the detonation site they found a tribe that had never seen white fella before!

There are some amazing and real aboriginal sacred sites.. Wurdi Youang comes to mind. It's a geoglyph arrangement not far from Geelong in Victoria, marking the equinox and solstices.

A series of balistic missiles were detonated at Percival Lakes begining in 1964.
