  • sorry this took so long to get back to you. the important thing is that you need a locked distributor at 18 degrees b.t.d.c. .

I am running stage two porting with a high preformance side draft carbs in a GT crank. so i will be running a little hotter than you will be. hope his helps

  • @rebaisalovesponge thanks for getting back to me , who supplied your gt crank? cheers, Dan

  • so 1200 degrees is 650 in degrees c, is that with stock porting? i am just trying to get an idea of a safe limit for my '65 96 running with stock porting but an expansion pipe, two inch exhaust and a 32mm venturi, i understand it will run slightly hotter egt's with stock porting but at this stage i don't want to go too radical with the tune! cheers, Dan

  • yes thats cool it does say worth every krona.

  • That gauge on the middle concole. It says " Its worth every krona "

  • What kind of figures are you looking for on the EGT?

  • @danieljosephsp1 thats a good question . it starts running good at 1200 degrees. i literally walk the edge.

  • If I was able to talk you out of it, how much?
