The fact that he's carrying the bellcanto technique in national television,so all the stupid pop wanna be brain less people, see what singing really means,i forgive him for stretching a bit some notes:)he's wonderful and way to go,from a tenor under development and a long lasting romantic one,we need some ambassador there:)
It's good, but it seems to me a little over done - bit too fortissimo and notes held a bit long. I think also he's trying to sound like Placido Domingo - not that that's a bad thing. He could relax a bit more and still put it across well, I think.
@kingruap If you say it, ok! But it's a lie! I will be in a show of him on September 9th in Vienna, and there is impossible to do playback! (Sorry for my english)
Great great singer--and truly an artist. Wish this show were on in the States, would be great for our culture. And...it would be more popular than tv execs might think, at least if someone as charismatic as Rolando is involved.
This is truly an amazing performance by an incredible talent, however...he does look a bit like Mr.Bean especially in the eyes department. Could he hold that last note any longer, I think not
Maybe Rolando didn't sing it (or he did it very low), but the lyrics written here are a little mistaken. In the line "he visto que esa mujer es una desventurada." the song really says "he visto que esa mujer NO es una desventurada" So the correct translation would be "I've seen that this woman is not a lost woman/quean".
Just a note so you can get the real meaning of this beautiful song.
Genial!!! Tiene sangre en la venas!!! Por eso canta si!!!!!

Please be careful, Rolando. I like you as a person and you have a good singing voice. Stop beating it into the ground when you sing.
