IM CATCHING GREIF FROM CIGNA im disabled & they are now telling me due to cut backs they are using outside 2nd & 3rd party outlets~Which the 2nd party? medical director is denying me 2 MRIs unless i take PT& IM DISABLED~in a brace on a walker&i cannot afford or do PT i should be allowed to be assesed w\MRI's B4 making me do PT*Which isnt an option& now i have to appeal 90 to 180 days,while the pain& misery is NOW~DEAR GOD i see my fate in this tragedy~It happens more than ppl know!~DD

You give them WAY too much credit... Its more than likely a form letter written years ago. They send out thousands a day to the families of people that die as a result of their healthcare denial. The underling probably fills in the blanks such as "sorry for the loss of your (daughter), had we known the experimental (liver transplant) would have saved her (life), we would have certainly provided the necessary (coverage)"

The family did NOT need the "prayers" of Cigna executives - they needed their daughter alive.

The old vikings had a word - Nidding - which was used to describe men, who were mean-spirited, back-stabbing, evil. Seldom has the word been as appropriate as here.
