  • Thanks may i also recomend a book to you?Its called Folk Medicine a vermont doctors guide to good health.I think you would find it very interesting. Thanks.

  • and p.s----- to all the negative folk out there:\

what makes the difference if she is jewish or not------ she is taking the time to help people like YOU ALL to not only survive in the case of the un forseen, but actually have a chance to life a happy life thru it-------- who know----maybe her advice and teachings might save your asses one day, and the many to come after that!!

  • ThePatriotNurse------- you are the goods, not to many people yake there time on this social media/ internet community actually do good works or even contemplating doing good work for people as you have and are currently doing------YOU WIN AT LIFE, TPN!!

too many people get on here just to either gawk at the looks or there own word of display there "keyboard courage" and not give a damn about how peoples welfare or curcumstance.

  • Is your website still available? I had trouble getting there... thanks for your vids.

  • Great video :) I had a question though.... why have you made a choice not to eat pork? No judgement, I'm just curious.

  • @conservativemama09 -----looking outside of the religious box----both domestic and feral pork is VERY tedious to properly prepare---you have to really know what to do to make pork safly edible

  • Thank you so much for all that you do, Patriot Nurse! I have a question, there's a used college textbook store that's near me. Are there any books you could recommend, a "Nursing 101" type of book that I could pick up used from there that would also be helpful? Thanks again!

  • Contemporary nutrition: a functional approach, is also a very good book, which I think every person should own. :)

  • Heh I read the book "Patriots"

Its an EXTREME fiction story about the economy collapsing, riots in the streets. These people are preppers and they all meet up at their "SHTF" compound where they defend their house from evil dooers and eventually UN troops. Its kinda a unrealistic and unlikely book and it fuels the prepper mentality. Its packed full of Christian references and its always talking about guns.

Its an O.K book, but take the situation with a grain of salt.

  • Thanks for the very informative video!

I have one question for you (please bear with me), at 6:23 on your video you talk about the Ethicon Wound Closure Manual, I Googled the name and the top link took me to a 127 page (7 chapter) PDF with the same name, is this the same book (available for free)?!

  • @slomotrainwreck it may very well be! I just like the nice fancy one for a few bucks.

  • Im subbing:) thanks for the info!!!

  • Not only is she a prepper and follows the dietary laws of Yahweh(god) by not eating pigs but she is beautiful as well:) Awesome vid girl keep up the great work. We dont eat pig either:) Amein!!!

  • John Seymour, author of Practical Self Sufficiency passed away some years ago, he was living in Ireland at the time. I have read this great book many times and recommended it on my web site fruitwise net and youtube channel. Seymour also wrote a book of much interest to the prepper called 'retrieved from the future' which is a SHTF/WROL future novel set in a post oil. England. well worth a read. Amazom has it.

  • Ordered the Apple Cider book today!! Thanks much!!

  • I also take issue with Rawles' choice of pistols in his books. I too am a Glock fan. Anyway, please continue to post vids. I highly regard your posts and look forward to all of them. I read Rawles and I also watch ThePatriotNurse. These are my go-to people for prepping. I'm a man and you are visually stunning which many have conveyed before. It has nothing to do with what you have to offer so don't let that affect your posts. I have a wife and kids and need a female perspective for prepping. +1

  • Great stuff! Thanks for the info!

  • I just wanted to thank you for all the wisdom that you have shared and continue to share with us, it is invaluable. As a former commander of the IDF, I also wanted to that you for your support. It doesn't matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, we all worship the same God and recognize the good from the evil. Best regards, Jewish Prepper

  • you need the survialist family by joe fox on amazon .com

  • Them's her peeps!

  • I'm on your Bookshelf page. I'm getting yellow triangle with !exclamations! errors with Firefox 8; IE9 showed Earth with Red-X errors; and Opera 11.52 showed nothing in the post area.

  • Thanks for the info, great job PN!!!!

  • Great initial video. I was on The Pathfinder school channel and stumbled on to your channel (and subscribed). As a certified EMT, I have a pretty solid base for emergency medicine. My question is, in which book would I find how to start an IV? I have stuck many many bags assisting EMS, but have never tried to start a line myself. Thanks so much and keep up the good work!

  • Great books to have I have most of them.I Like the shirt wish I had one keep up the great vids.

  • Thanks for the great vid. I think you have provided another great resource. love your take on things. Keep up the great work.

  • I don`t understand this person.''

  • Now, I'm even further behind on my reading list. He, he. Thanks for the great video!

  • yummm pig. yummy bacon, ham ummmm

  • Have you or anyone else come across any good books for medical prepping for pets?

  • the LDS preparedness manual is really good also. google it and you will find a link for a free download

  • who cares what religion she is, why does it matter she is talking about prepping. I think she is smoking hot and the fact she is smart enough to prepare for the shit storm that is coming makes her even hotter!

  • We have all the same books lol. Great vid.

    Schmoo

  • Thanks for all your useful info!!!

I'm posting a link to get a pdf file of the "ethicon wound closure manual" 2007

    surgery.uthscsa.edu/pediatric/training/woundclosuremanual.pdf

  • Keep bringing the awesomeness PN

  • As a Jewish woman living in Jerusalem, I really enjoy your videos. Due to our rather unpleasant neighbors, we are always preparing for trouble here.

And I love your sweatshirt :-). Please come visit soon, if you haven't already.

  • I knew about most of the books except the "Foxfire". I will be getting the first one & checking it out.

I don't know what all this commenting about her ethnicity is... who cares! She is a beautiful and smart woman & any man would be lucky to have her as a wife.

  • At around 1:37 you mentioned having some issues with the weapon choices mentioned in the book "as a specialist", if I heard correctly. Did you mean as a medical specialist or are you a specialist in some tactical field as well? I know you're a Christian but I saw the IDF sweatshirt and quite honestly, you favor a lot of the IDF women that I've seen. Not that that's a bad thing, lol. Anyways, just curious. Great videos!

  • @tacticalnpractical I said "especially as" regarding weapons. Sorry, I'm sure it sounded like "as a specialist." I take a little issue with Rawles' choice of Colt .45's as I totally prefer a Glock 19. But to each his own, and I'd take a Colt .45 over no gun anyday of the week! Hope that helps :D

  • Thanks PN. I'll have to add to my collection. I as a former EMT and Firefighter have a few good ones on my desk. You can never have to many manuals and readers. God Bless.

  • I personally would love a PDF list of what she included in her 3 part series of Medical supplies to store in the house.

  • Patriots is a great book, I just got their other book Survivors. Would love to have a pop up survival book.

  • Not sure why 4 did not like this video.

    It was well done.

  • My son bought me a Kindle reader and I have downloaded a lot of prepping books.

The books are a lot cheaper and the Kindle is easy to carry around. I can put 1200 books on my kindle. Patriots was a really good book and so is the sequel "Survivors". Another two good books are "Where there is no doctor, and Where there is no Dentists."

  • I wonder if the "Wasteland Survival Guide" exist.

  • what about boyscouts handbook ???

  • firefox is good, they are several copies,i got the them here somewhere, still good to read..

  • wow .such a great selection.

  • The sequel to Patriots is good "survivors".check out "lights out" ,"one second after" and I just started reading "preppers road march" .Great reads all.

  • Glad you are back making videos again!

  • Love me some Ina May Gaskin!

  • Bragg books~YES! Great suggestions, nurse :) Congrats on the website. I'll be checking it out for sure!

  • Just added a few more books to my x-mas list. Great video!

  • How fast the weak minded turn when religious beliefs come into play. Must be miserable to live in fear of what's not in ones comfort zone. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, P.N.

  • I'm an Appalachian mountain lad born and bred but I find the Foxfire books a neat cultural insight but I find their info as far as survival is concerned rather iffy...I'd start elsewhere....Encyclopedia of Country Living, however, is most awesome...you could run an entire farm off that book!!!!

  • Appalachian girl. plus.

  • I need to learn how to tie sutures one handed.

  • ALL OF YOU CALLING HER JEW AND ALL OF THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT JEWS, NEED TOO READ HER PROFILE SHE IS A CHRISTIAN! GUESS WHAT? .....JEASUS WAS A JEW!!!!

  • @bellomarco1 I cant believe that anyone would call the patriot nurse anything negative as she is such a wonderful person with alot of great info to share. But most especially why would they be calling her a Jew as she is not and is probably a Cherokee Indian or at lest part Cherokee if you watch all of her videos she states she is from the poor folks of the Appalachian Mountains and those folks are at least part Cherokee. I am also part Cherokee myself.

  • @LoboLady2007 I know, I think she is great and doing a wonderful thing. Did you see the comments that I was talking about? I can't believe people would say those things. There is no basis for it.

I'm glad she ignores such comments, and I am very thankful for the work she is doing!

  • Comment removed

  • @bellomarco1 That is correct and I am amazed that people think they are a Christian and don't even know what the bible says, plain as the nose on your face, Yehushua is a Jew and Jerusalem is sacred. The bad boys are the Pharisees who could strain a knat but swallow a camel. That doesn't mean all Jews are bad or all Christians are good. Nuff said.

  • @bellomarco1 I agree with you and I believe anyone who harbors anti semitic beliefs cannot truly call themself a christian we have a covenant with the jewish people and the bible says those who stand against the nation and people of israel are standing against god

  • @455eley Genesis 12:3 NKJV

    New King James Version

I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."

  • @bellomarco1 Yes but Jesus didn't type in ALL CAPS :-).....and by the way the Arabs are the largest group of Semitic peoples on earth, so bear in mind being Anti-Semitic is not just against those of the Jewish faith, friends...peace

  • @ITILII Actually he would have typed in uppercaps. I studied typography and the lowercase wasn't used until fifteenth century.

  • @bellomarco1 During His lifetime, no persons were described as "Jews" anywhere. That fact is supported by theology, history and science. When Jesus was in Judea, it was not the "homeland" of the ancestors of those who today style themselves "Jews".

The term originated in the late eighteenth century as an abbreviation of the term Judean and refers to a resident of Judea without regard to race or religion, just as the term "Texan" signifies a person living in Texas.

  • Thank you very much, m'am! You rawk! Thanks for sharing your insights and experience... best wishes and happy holidays!

  • Patriots was my first book too!

  • Thanks for your reading list! Could keep us all very busy on a cold winter's night.

Two I would recommend for the list:

"Stocking Up" - Rodale Press: Instructions on Butchering and preserving fish and game, cheese making, canning, dehydrating and fermenting.

Prescription for Nutritional Healing - Avery Press: A practical A-Z guide for drug-free remedies using nutritional supplements and herbs.

    Thanks, Patriot Nurse!

  • Thanks for posting these on your website. I will check them out!

  • thanks for the info !

  • great video checking out the site

  • Thanks! Have some, will get others. I left allopathic Big Pharma medicine to heal folks instead. Learning stuff I didn't learn in nursing school from Dr Morse (robertmorsend), who explains we are basically a hundred trillion cells and two fluids: 1/4 blood 3/4 lymph. Cells are like babies. Blood feeds the baby onsite, the lymph diapers it. The lymph (sewer) gets backed up, causing dis-ease. Eat raw fruits and veggies, use healing herbs, detox. Move lymph, heal bodies...now more than ever! Shalom

  • U.S Army Special Forces Medical Handbook should be in everyone's library

  • Great Video and Website. Always a pleasure watching your videos. Thanks!

  • Oh you have to read, "Going Galt: Surviving Economic Armageddon" by Daxton Brown. It's probably the best book written out there as of yet -was just published this January 2011

  • Two things Patriot Nurse, first is "I don't eat pigs" whaaat?!? But its so delicious, lol. I thought pig was number one for southern girls, lol. To each his own. Second, I find it very refreshing that you're so open and honest about natural child birth and breastfeeding. When my wife gave birth to our first son I was very hesitant about her breastfeeding but once I started researching it, wow, the benefits are amazing. I find it sad that more people aren't doing it. Keep up the good work.

  • I first saw Where their is no Village Doctor back in like 1979 or 1990, but I found a copy a Major Surplus, Gardena, CA.

Another book, free to veterans, is from the Veteran's Administration "Healthwise for LIFE" 450 pages.

  • " I don't eat pig." Whaaaat? I've never heard of a Southern Gal that didn't eat no bit of swine. You mean all this time Paula Dean has been lying to me? Say it ain't so!

  • @jistaguy45 I took that comment and her very awesome sweatshirt to imply that she may be of Jewish heritage. Jewish people do not eat pork. Just a guess, but it might explain it. Rock on PN!

  • @jistaguy45 buddy. look at her hoodie. that explains the no pork...

  • Good notices

  • Great video.

  • Mercy... You are fine! Not to mention the brains and the 'X' factor! ;}

  • I like the videos. Where did you get the sweatshirt?

  • Great stuff as always, Thanks for your time and info sharing.

  • Lot's of great choices.

    Glock n Load,

    Mike

  • I have a survival folder.

  • @SilverCitySlicker500

What was the name of that stupid red haired girl who tried to stop the bulldozer with her face????

  • @rachelgolem Rachel Corrie. We call her pancake

  • great selection, I have most of those as well

  • I love learning from the Patriot Nurse, and I like her fashion sense. But I'm biased and proud of it. :-) Your focus is much needed in the preparedness community.

  • @Volksverhetz answer me this. Why is it jewish women like this lady are vibrant enojoyable but arabic women who live in the same place look like jawa's? and whats with the sand ninja costume? is it halloween all year long on muslim land? and actually I have seen pretty muslim girls, but then they grow up to be so worn looking. maybe its all the beating's that their shovenistic, oil drinking, camel cowboy husbands give them for simple things such as messing up the humus

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you much.

  • I thought you where cute with the glasses on. but now... pardon me but da da da doing!

  • @Volksverhetz lol

  • @Volksverhetz I do not know how to answer you. You seem aggressive. You seem having problems. But do you understand that writing SUCH comments actually aggravates them? I guess that you do ;)

    But, seriously, wtf?

  • Thank you PatriotNurse ! Great video !

Please, please tell me what name are your hand clock, is very, very nice!

    Thank you !

  • Wow! Interesting collection. I try to introduce you to these people:

    >>> youtube _ com/user/TheGridMonster

    >>> youtube _ com/user/Luke

And the question about balance... Isn't it better to prevent SHTF than to prepare for that? I mean making (joining) political ORGANIZATION(s)...

Anyway thank you! I appreciate your work.

  • Great video!

  • PN, great references for a relative newbie to the Prepping Movement like myself. So nice to find someone focusing on something other than BOBs and firearms. As JWR says, it's not about things, it's about skills. Excellent content and a refreshing perspective. I look forward to your website.

  • Thank you for all your videos and advice.

  • Great info! Thanks for posting this vid

  • That ethicon sutering manual is awesome!! Bought that myself when I bought my stash of sutures! Thanks for all the great info, keep it up and safe journeys!!!

  • WAIT!! You forgot the Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brookes!! :)

  • so glad to see a new video from you!!!

  • ★★★★★

  • Hi! Your vids are great. Very informative and pretty cut-to-the-chase. I've been, well, stock-piling first-aid suplies to be prepared for what-ever, and wondered a few things: how long will the adhesive last on stored bandaids? I try to cycle through things but I also try NOT to have to use them in the first place. Second, could you do a vid on basic suturing? Thanks again... I appreciate all the time you've put into sharing your knowledge!

  • @kistofur youtube user USNERDOC has a vid on basic sutering. That is if he still has that vid posted.

  • Where do I get surgical needles and thread for suturing for my first aid kit...Thanks.....LOVE, COURAGE

  • Great video on what to have in the library. My wife has a couple of the pregnancy books, like the Birthing Within one. She liked it.

  • Great video, I will definitely be checking out all these books, Thanks.

  • They look like really useful books.

  • The link to your bookshelf on your website does not work.

  • You're so neurotic , it's sexy.

  • @Commentboy5000 Agreed!

  • Thankyou Patriot Nurse! Love all of your vids. You need to set a link on how to donate to your website. You would be surprised on how many people would contribute for all the great info you give us. Take care.

  • All great choices

  • Congrats on the website

  • You become my favorite nurse - 'cept for my daughter ;-) - more and more with every vid! THANK YOU ! ! ! ! ! ! !

  • Great info as always. Thanks.

  • Thanks for the info and congratulations on the website.

  • Those are great books Thanks
