Thanks for the informative video. Do you remember around how much DPS each player was doing, including yourself? Some raid-geared guildies and I gave this a college try, underestimating the stringency of the timer, and missed it by quite a bit -- we killed the third boss with ~3 minutes left. Looks like rigorous chain pulling is the way to go!

@ericiidx I honestly have no idea. I don't run damage meter addons anymore. Two of the dps are in full 359s, the other is in heroic blues with some crafted epics (no raid gear, two blue weapons, it's an alt of his). It is definitely a very tight timer! With the same gear, we shaved a lot of time off each successive attempt, so just keep trying!

isnt it annoying not being able to see your buffs or what damage you are doing? i mean i can kind of make out your threat, but i guess i cant see where you have omen/skada. one more thing, do you guys have the zul'aman only buff things? are they important?

@MrMenthole56 Honestly it's liberating. Omen is sitting between my chat window and my action bars at the bottom, the very thin lines. My SCT mod was still broken from the patch at the time of this recording, and I decided to take some time with no damage or healing display. We had the archaeology buff. I don't run Skada or any other damage meter, so I have no idea how important they are. They certainly don't seem to hurt!

I've only run the dungeon twice since the release. Once to get a feel for the place (having never run the raid back in the day) and a second time to try for the timed run, which failed pretty badly.

I was wondering, do you think that having everyone in the group use an Invisibility Potion to skip a majority of the trash between the Bear and Dragonhawk boss would be useful, or even possible.

Hopefully anyone reading this can test it out, maybe it'll save a minute or two of time if it works.

@Anstormning I don't personally have a comment on this, other than it's worth a try. I've seen it suggested on the WoW D&R forums, but I haven't read of anybody trying it.

Keep running with a group of similarly determined friends, and hopefully with practice you'll be able to do it! Good luck!

Did your bloodlust allow for you to take it slower? Not trying to sound condescending, but I went in w/o a blood lust team, all in Tier 11 raid gear and we got to Lynx with 3mins left. I think our timer was bugged because eagle/bear didnt give us 5mins on the kill. But we were training mobs and chain pulling like crazy compared to your vid.

@thelordymir No offense taken. We only used time warp once: on the pull of the Lynx boss. We did the run in 24 minutes. For you to have gotten to the Lynx boss with 3 minutes left without time extensions, you would have had to have done the whole run in 12 minutes. That's 2x faster than us. We're admittedly not stellar players, but this seems hard to believe. Only the eagle/bear give +5 minutes, the dragonhawk does not.

@lst2freak 25 minutes, yes. And you have to make each prisoner checkpoint. But if you're going to finish successfully, the only one that you'll be worried about making is the last one. The other ones have to be finished with quite a bit of time to spare, since freeing the third prisoner doesn't add to your timer.

@KrackersROM Yes. Opening the first and second cages each give +5 minutes. So you essentially have 25 minutes from the moment the event starts (with "checkpoints" at each boss).

@Tuckerburn22 It's called Tidy Plates (I'm using the Threat Plates module, which may need to be downloaded separately from Tidy Plates depending on where you get that addon).
