Is the Technics EN4 worth anything good? I have a chance to get one cheap that I've been thinking about, but know nothing of the old technic organs. Thx for posting....JM
i know many haters gonna say a lot of bullshit after i post this but...........i dont think the technics stuff is that great i mean look at the turntable, yeah they are good quality are made for pros but arent they too big.......besides why spent a bunch of money on something like that when youre not a pro yet.......same with the keyboards why not stick with a korg x50 or something more cheap but easy to handle and then go with the other stuff.......
Why everything has to be cheap? Some of us don't like cheap. It is boring if everyone buys only the cheapest, and you don't need to be a pro to buy a proffesional instrument:) The fun is the most important.

It's cheap, but real- all transistor oscillators, sounds like smooth cheez, very cool organ. It's also the only 'apartment size' organ with a metal roll top cover. That comes in handy when moving it around.
Same day mind you, I bought a pristine Wurlitzer 625T for $100.
I've had Technics and Yamaha organs, and personally if find Technics voicing better than Yamaha ,but Yamaha rhythms better than Technics. A mix of the two would be the ultimate organ.

I would say that it is patience problem. I work in the toy industry and there is a clear sign that children of today wants a succesfull playing experience imidiately - or at least within half an hour. They don't have patience to practice and learn how to do things properly. And why should grown-up act differently.
Blame TV and Video games. Johann Sabastian Bach raised 19 kids AND was a master organist/composer/teacher. He found the time and somehow garnered patience!
You are right. Also the good organists. Are they sleaping? I promes you that i will changes this. I'm a organist to and play om a technics. First i have a Hammond. My teacher is one of the greatest. I mean it realy and wil make an video soon. I show you a few songs played "close Harmony" You don't believe what you hear.I have lost my hart in this instrument and do nothing whit this talent. I live the Technics voicing but not their rhythms, wish i could mix it with Yamaha Rhythms, for me that would be good.

In fact it is sold already. I play the Roland AT90s now, but i will get another Technics in the future. It is a fantastic instrument:)

The electronic organ industry is dead. No one has the time to practice nor the money to buy one.
