The translation I prefer is the King James Version as it was translated from the RECEIVED TEXT(TEXTUS RECEPTUS) Hebrew, Greek & Aramaic scriptures 400 years ago. The modern translations of the Bible are made using Brooke Foss Westcott (1825-1901) and Fenton John Anthony Hort (1828-1892) Greek New Testament which they made in 1881 by combining the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus texts.

The Textus Receptus was also used for 100's of translations into other languages like for example Martin Luthers translation of scripture into German.
