  • God. Cool

  • not quite sure how you did that extra zoom....the 48X...please help me.

  • lol nevermind, got it, but does this work with iA?

  • thanks... just the test I wanted to see..

  • This has a geat zooming range for it's size. On my TZ7, on manual camera mode, the digital zoom setting is disabled and on the settings it won't let me highligt it, is there a way of activating it? If you nowwhat to do then that would be good, don't worry if you don't i'll try and find out my self.

  • I pretty much go with the recommendations you'll find on dpreviewdotcom

  • VERY NICE!!! I was looking at possibly buying this camera, and I think you just helped me make my decision. Thank you for sharing!

  • wow, that is fantastic.

  • Thanks for the post. I just got this camera too, thanks, in part, to people like you who take the time to post videos. I shoot stills with a Nikon DSLR (D300) but have this in my pocket for videos. I process them with iMovie on a MacPro laptop. It's the best video quality you can get. Thanks again.

  • You are welcome. It's great for mobility, great stills, and decent HD video. I do miss using a viewfinder, however, and i'm going to shoot more stills and movies with my Nikon D5000, which I haven't used for many months due to the purchase of this fine camera..

  • crap this shit is awesome.

  • I just bought it today and let me tell u it rocks....i love it.....best camera...I used to buy Canon and they went downhill.

  • wow nice rez for such a tiny camera! is the screw threads the tripod mounts into made out of plastic or metal? the plastic tripod mounts wear out i've found (and are irreplaceable)

  • They appear to be metal, some type of chrome. You really don't need a tripod due to the image stabilization-in fact, they recommend to disable IS if shooting with a tripod. It will, however, be a better video if used with a tripod that has a decent fluid head.

  • The camera for the peeping tom in your life. ;)

  • how do you enable digital zoom?

  • You just go through the appropriate menu selections. The default setting is to disable digital zoom.

  • This is the first video I watched out of 3 videos (so far) to help me decide on getting this camera... I'm definitely getting it. :) the quality and zoom are amazing. Very stable shot, must be using a tripod. :)

  • Tripod was used for this video, and owner's manual states to disable the image stabilization when on tripod (similar to other cameras).

  • I thought the camera only has 12x zoom capabilities? What is this 48x stuff?

  • It has 12x optical. It becomes 48 when you utilize the digital zoom.

  • Default is with digital zoom off. When desired, you must enable it, which is easy.

  • 12x optical plus 4x digital kicks in after.

  • i have this camera and i love it!!! it's great!!!! algo the quality!!

  • wow thats clear ass hell, and the zooom is amazing!!
