started when I was about 10 years old. I would place the stereo next to me while on the piano and play the song over and over until the notes matched up.

Not trying to brag, but now, I can pretty much hear a song once and be able to play it decently. Mind you, I cant read notes. I took lessons for 2 years and didn't learn a thing.

Yeh, I understand what you mean. I have played violin for 6 years now but I really don't enjoy it anymore. But, one day I sat at the piano and just taught myslef how to play songs from the radio on piano and now I am glad I learnt how to play violin because it really developed by hearing. I also can not read sheet music which is a shame. But oh well.

I typically use broken octave chords (for lack of better words), but the base chords for this piece in the video are:

EGB, DF#A, BDF#, CEG - and repeats through out the whole song. It should be this:

EGB, DF#A, BDF#, CEG, EGB, DF#A, (lower keys) GBD, ACE.
