observer means measuring device , not a conciouss person ..u cant see an atom ....u need to measure it
to measure it u need to hit it with a photon wich makes it collapse ....

I personally don't have an opinion either way when it comes to qi, but I believe very strongly in self-manifestation. If someone believes that healing their qi will help them, in many cases, it will. Whether it exists in everyone's reality or just that person's, doesn't matter. It's effects are felt by that person, and so their faith in it isn't silly at all.
I think we face a bigger problem from disrespect of faith than we do from the actual faith.
