Sad to say this, but we Indians have not only copied hollywood movies but have also copied almost everything from west. First of all the whole political system is a copy of western democracy. The constitution itself is a mix of England and American constitutions. Concepts like 5 year plans, lokpal institution, green revolution, economy etc have been taken from west. The youngsters of today are western by soul and they copy clothes and other mannerisms from west. So why blame only movies?

I am an Indian. I have no hesitation in admitting that we are a country of copycats, not only in the business of movies but in everything, be it products, services etc., you name it everything. We have started even copying your mannerism, etiquettes etc. We are saying 'hi' instead of 'namaskar'. Our movie stars speak hindi language in the movies, but English when they talk in public. What a laughing stock !

@darklord0689 maybe you can't handle them cuz they're love stories. ddlj (typical plot but very good), kuch kuch hota hai, dil to pagal hai, kal ho naa ho (3 wau love storeis as usaul but very good), kabhi alvida naa kehna (also love story but not typical plot..was amazing!) and then if you don't like love stories other srk stuff is main hoon naa, om shanti om, and more recently my name is khan (all of these also have love but there story isn't only about the love.)
