Not a problem. It was a terrific night, and it's nice to see how folks were responding to the news coming in via the TV. I agreed with your friend's remarks regarding Australia 'going down the American (or British) path' under Howard (i.e. privatisation). Amazing to see the Liberal Party effectively implode in the wake of their Federal election loss - it shows how absolutely dysfunctional the Federal Govt. was under Howard (and how one man held the country to ransom).

Green's are probably my favourite. I am not a fan of Kevin Rudd for many of his more right wing and Howard type views but I have great respect for Julia Gillard. Ideally she would be leader but at least we have a change. Let's hope Kevin will be our saviour and not turn into another Blair. For all it's faults I'd rather be here in Australia than in England which is now in a dire state. Australia is like paradise in comparison.
