I got the Korg DS-10+ earlier but couldn't find a hole on my PC to put it in. I was told I needed an 'Adaptor'.

I found out the adaptor, it's called 'Nintendo DS' (or some variant thereof).

Got one today.

Brilliant...little card slips right in there.....Like it was made for it.

Not sure bashing a delicate screen with a stick is something we should encourage........

Made some daft noises, plugged it in to my studio rig and made some much louder daft noises.

Yesterday, and it seems like AQi stopped manufacturing the ordinary DS-10, no online store here has it in stock anymore and they don't seem very keen on ordering in new ones.. If I'm really unlucky I'll have to wait till fucking september, I pretty much bought the damn thing because of this :/

Hilarious fake applause!

Seems they're going in the right direction - only a year later! I may get a DSi just for this. I'm worried the pattern length/structure hasn't been improved as it wasn't mentioned. That's a bigger achilles heel than lack of polyphony/tracks.

The price and retail availability (by which I hope they mean Walmart, Target, & Gamestop stateside) are AWESOME. May sow the seeds for a new generation of synth nerds - the thought brings a tear to my eye.

So, is this only going to be for the DSi and not regular DS? I had trouble understanding him at times.

Secondly, is this all the new features or just some? They really have to add a mic option to dub your own voice within songs. How sick would that be? So far no music applicator for consoles/portables or music games have offered this option. But this KORG DS 10 Plus looks cool, more options.

I hope it's sold to more USA retailers this time since KORG DS 10 was hard to find....

OMG! 4 synth parts, 8 drum parts, meaning the DS-10 Plus is now a 12 voice pocket VA synth! Then throw in the other new features in song mode! Is this for real?????? I have the current DS-10.., but will buy this thing for sure if it's released. The guy was wrong on his info though. It's not only available online. Here in the USA you can find this at GameStop! A guy from Canada told me he bought his at Walmart... I got mine off of Amazon though (before they hit retailers).

Did you ever work out if thew Dsi has better quality sound? I'm hoping it takes advantage of this if it does. Ds lite was something weird like 10bit 32khz

I'll be getting one for sure! Man just having twice the synth parts and twice the drum parts is a HUGE improvement over the current DS-10. Geez..., 12 freakin trks on a pocket VA synth! The speakers on the Dsi are without a doubt better than the DSLite. The DSLite didn't play audio music files.., so that comparison isn't really fair.., but the DS10 application (with an A/B comparison of both models) proves the speakers have been improved.
