You are correct, but there is/was a reason. This Youtube clip was used as a promo for the game that is on my channel. Many of my early vids were done as TEASERS for my channel. Just enough to make you/them want more and visit the channel. Since Youtube has extended the "time" and at the suggestion of others I will/am doing some part 2's. This one was done a little while ago

i was at this game. stupid colts fans were starting stuff and then getting security and having the raiders fans kicked out. i wore my costume and was told by a rent a cop that i couldn't go in because i could hurt someone, yet the colts fans were allowed to carry in their wooden ponies. this was a great win as was the win against the colts the very next year

The feeling I as a kid watching Gannon work defences was incredible. I was such a confident Raiders fan because Gannon was so confident, not only that but his success story makes him such a perfect Raider. Sadly, since then I have not felt that confidence in one single QB.

He has his flashes but I will never forgive him for that garbage he pulled in the SB...And don't give me that Gruden knew our offense. He & Callaghnan couldn't do a little chang-up on the playbook--give the same look but do something different?---SORRY no love for Gannon here. He did a great job over-all-but when it counted most- he was WACK!!!

@TheDissident77 --First u need 2 understand the difference between a 'game plan' and 'plays'. They opened up games normally by establishing the run. We had about 10-12 rushing plays all day. Even if playing from behind u can't abandone the run. Some(here) talking bout how they 'felt' as a kid(wtf?)--as a kid u don't know jack about football/science. Maybe Gruden got tired of watching the master-piece he was building-being destroyed every year in the playoffs by Gannon, and moved on.

@TheDissident77 ---Maybe that is why gruden got a DUI--here in the Bay Area---after two seasons of winning and watching his work go to waste--he got drunk as hell and tried to drive home, after watching film of Gannon destroying his hard wok. I predicted Gannon would blow the SB game--all my fellow friends/fans where pissed @ me--I said he would throw three pics. That night @ the local bar,they all aske dhow did I know?--Because he is a big game choker!!!! Yeah!! u, 'don't know or care'.

Most of what you wrote doesn't even make structural sense anyway. And I don't need to prove anything to anyone. Sides most of your rants sound like a typical sports fan. Knows little but since he played in h.s., follows the draft and is realll passionate he actually understands the game.

I just remember as a kid the confidence I felt when Gannon dropped back, I just felt at ease because it was usually gonna be a good decision made.

Man, me, too. I've been looking for Gruden/Callahan videos for eons. I also recommend that you check out the 1976 Oakland Raiders on YouTube. John Facenda does an excellent job narrating the '76 regular season and playoffs.

Man, I search night and day trying to find old Raider videos from the Jon Gruden/Bill Callahan era. Being a Raider fan these days is tough, so I like to look back at the glory days as much as possible!
