  • If ur levels 1 or 2 u get the moisturizing lotion if

Ur levels 3 or 4 u get the moisturizing gel

  • I love the Clinique skincare line! Def. worth the money!

  • I started using the same 3 step system No3 like 4 months ago...and it ruined my skin, i've never suffered from pimple but after Clinique i have pimples all over my face now, my skin became too oily now...

  • @chibichibi27 if you never had a pimple to begin with, why did you use it?

  • @chibichibi27

mayb you took the wrong formula. because if its the right one. it works wonders

  • You have beautiful complexion :)

  • @Ri8ii thank you! it's a work in progress. :)

  • im combination oily too but extremely sensible so I use the clarifying lotion number 1 and it do not causes me dryness, loving ur videos :)xoxo

  • im gonna get these products but im dont know, wich one? 1, 2, 3, 4? When i dont use moiturizer i have a little (very little) dry spots for example my nose. but when i use mosturizer i get oily on my fourhead so i dont know..i just dont know :P i guess i should have no 2 but, should i?

  • @Xlella i would ask the makeup artist when you check out the products... i really can't say. they asked me a few questions to find out what number i was.

  • g8 video! ...maybe ya should use the 3-steps anti-blemish system

    ..hugs

  • @naamalj i was thinking about it, but i've been using the Clean & Clear advantage and my skin is 10 times better... it got really bad a few months after this video was made... but this was made a year ago.

  • I noticed you made this video almost a year ago, do you still use the product? Does it still work? Thanks

  • @karseiersen actually, i don't. i still like the products but my skin has suffered a bad breakout lately (i hate adult acne!) and so i'm using a combo of Neutrogena and Clean & Clear face wash and moisturizer. i haven't tossed my Clinique stuff but i hope to go back to it when my skin calms down. i still recommend it to those who want a great skin care system! :)

  • @daysies1974 Okay thank you! & good luck with your skin, i hope it all works out! :)

  • I use the Neutrogena transparent bar soap for acne-prone skin so the lady didn't sell me the soap (step 1) because I didn't need it. I was only given step 2 and 3 (I'm a level 1, thought they thought 2 as well, and they gave me the GEL instead of the lotion *shakes head*. It's not drying so it's ok.

I have heard that it takes about a month to really notice results and your skin looks great!!! so clear (I know you have makeup, but I don't see bumps from pimples). I hope this works!

  • WOW! Your skin looks amazing ! I just started using the 3 step system and so far I'm liking it, hopefully it wont cause more breakouts !

  • @christentze The system does not have SPF, but their 'Even Better' tone correcting moisturizer has SPF 20! Hope I helped.

  • your skin looks great!!

  • When did you start seeing results?

  • honestly i can't remember when... probably in a few weeks time... you just have to be diligent and consistent and make it a ritual to see results.

  • thank you for reviewing this. my skin, over the last 5 years, has been horrible. i had great skin in high school and then in college it turned for the worse. i am definitely considering trying the system. do you know if the moisturizer has spf in it? i really hate applying those thick sticky sun protectors so a lot of the time when i just don't want to deal with it, i forgo them. bad, i know, but i hate that greasy feeling, especially since it's so hot where i live. thanks again. : )

  • the moisturizer in this set does not have SPF. i hope you have good results with it!

  • thanks so much. bummer about the spf part but im going to go check it out.

  • you should try super rescue as your night time treatment for combination/ oily.. also moisture surge thirsty skin relief re hydrates the skin for up to 12 hours..

  • Your darker spots come from exfoliating the skin, which makes it more sensitive to sun! When you have spots, it is even more sensitive!! So, technically, if you put a bit of sunblock on you should be fine! :)

  • i have been using this for one month now. and i LOVE IT. i even feel throughout the day that my skin isn't as oily. it's the best thing ever!

  • i brought the 3step system to try out for the first time.. and the consultant who i approached when buying the product did say that your spot will come out as its taking the dirt out of your skin but it should go down as you continue to use it....

  • hi there! =) i'm also using clinique 3-step system type 3 (combination skin) and i'm using it for 4 months. At the begin u can see the differents but after a couple months, my skin also got spots on my face, the area around my chin. It's also getting dark after i'm using the products so i don't know if i would buy this 3-step system again. Thank you for your sharing ur thoughts =) i'm also gonna avoid the spots area =) bye!

  • thanks for sharing! all my spots that i pointed out in the video are gone now. i still use the Clinique 3-step system. i think i must've irritated it some other way and then the clarifying lotion just made it worse. after i avoided those spots, they healed and now i'm using the clarifying lotion on it again and i haven't gotten any new spots.

  • how long did they take to heal?

  • i honestly don't remember. i've had bad skin for years and blemishes or acne scarring takes a very long time to heal. maybe 3 months? i really didn't keep track.

  • your video was very helpful, I ordered the trial sizes to see how well they work with my skin.

  • thank you! and thank you for subscribing, too. :)

  • pimples on that area usually come from bacteria on your phone transferring to your face. sanitize your phones regularly and it should help.

  • you make a very good point! thanks!!! :)

  • your skin looks great! <3

  • is it only for people with acne

  • Clinique has a separate system just for acne-prone skin... i break out occasionally (not all the time) so that's why i chose this system... if you break out all the time (and a lot), then you should go with the acne system.

  • How long did it take you to see results was it about 1 month or sooner?

  • when trying a new skincare system, i would say you would really need to see true results after more than a month. i would say that i really saw results after more than a month. i really don't know when i started to really see a difference. you just have to be disciplined and clean your face every single day.

  • do you also use a lotion with spf in it for the daytime?

  • since i work at home, i don't use SPF... i just put on my dramatically different gel and that's it. i should use SPF regardless if i'm indoors and especially if i'm outdoors, but i don't. i need to make it a habit though.

  • you're very likable :)

  • i don't know what kind of skin type i have. could someone help me out? i normally have dry skin, but near the end of the day, a little bit of oil will build up on my nose and my forehead. am i considered Skin Type 1 still? or Skin Type 2 (Dry combo)?

    thanks!

  • i would say you are dry combo, which would be type 2. but i would check with a Clinique specialist to make sure. they asked me a lot of questions. of course, i don't remember what they are anymore.

but it goes like this: dry, dry combo, oily combo, oily.

  • i bought type 2 just today. but at sephora. the lady there wasn't really much help lol... she kept trying to say that i was type 3 but i told her how i really don't get THAT oily. just a little. so we went with 2. and i bought the smaller kit... but im thinking i should've just bought the bigger one. ahh aha. thanks for replying!

  • oh its okay.. Thank u so much ive asked and they said it should clear it up within some time but i just want to know if its worked for anyone else with milia. thanks tho X

  • Hi.. .. i got all this recently.. im a skin type 2 and i just wondered if you knew the answer to my question.. i have some milia on my cheeks and i was wondereing if you knew if it would get rid of it and how lond it would take to start making a difference.. plz get back to me someone (if u can) X

  • hi there! i removed your other 2 comments. i have comments on approval.

sorry, i'm not a skin expert! i can only comment on what i've experienced. i would suggest asking a Clinique beauty expert at the counter. i'm sure they've been asked this question before. hopefully someone else can answer for you.

  • would you recommend this to someone who usually has about 3 zits.. do you think it would clear it up?

  • honestly, i would go to a Clinique counter and ask one of the experts there... i wish i had just 3 zits! LOL

i would establish some kind of skin care system because it's never too late to have one as part of your daily regimen.

  • I got those spots in that area too ! I just bought this clinique brand, hopefully it will work! Great Video

  • good review. this is one of the many systems i've used in the past, way back when i was in high school. i wasn't diligent enough to keep up with it though at the time, but i've always liked the clinique brand.

i don't know what your face looked like before you started using this two months ago, but it definitely appears flawless and glowing in this video!

  • i have a couple of foundation application videos up and i'm sure you could see that i didn't have any dark spots around the corners of my mouth. i'm curious to see how my skin was back then to compare... i wish i took some before pictures.

  • Great info; thanks! Karla

  • Does the facial shop and the toner, contain alcohol? Also, does the toner, feel a little strong, while you use it o your face ?

    Thank you so much.

    ;D

  • i believe the toner does contain alcohol because you can smell it when you open the bottle. it does not bother me though. i don't feel like it's strong unless you apply it on some open sores (like freshly popped pimples, etc)...

  • it s total cr@p.

soap is sooooo ordinary,lotion/toner is full of ALCOHOL.,nothing else. and moisturizer is maybe ok

  • i'm going to continue using up all the products and when i'm down to the last bit, i'll need to think about keeping it or switching it out. i'm happy with it, though. everyone's skin is different.

  • The lotion, I have the DDML as you have, and I find it doesn't moisturize much at all. It's okay for the summer since you don't need as much moisturization. But that bottle is hella big and will last me a long time because again, I do not use it much.

For the price, this system is overly expensive and very average. I don't think it has been helping my skin and I would not re-buy it.

For your skin type, it could be good, as you say, it seems to be working for you and that is good.

    Good review.

  • during the summer, it's extremely hot & dry where i live and despite that, i don't need that much moisturizer because i work at home and don't go outside that much (the hot dry air just kills me)... i like the products so far & i'm going to continue using them. i forgot to mention that i hadn't broke out since using them and that is a HUGE plus for me because i still have acne prone skin at 34 years old! :(

thank you so much for your comments! :)

  • I have dry/combination skin. I have been using this 3 step about as long as you, if not longer. I find the liquid soap to be very average, about as good as any soap that you can get from the drugstore. The toner, is very full of alcohol and for my skin that ends to be on the dry side, it is way too harsh. I get zits in the areas where you pointed out as well, more lately than ever before, something is upsetting my skin. I only use the toner once in a while, I have other products I prefer.

  • yes, i do agree that the toner is full of alcohol (the smell gives it away) and i think i just caused those spots to show up because i applied it (without knowing its affects) on those spots, irritating them some more. :( i break out often in my chin area, but not in those corners of my mouth so something must've been going on. who knows.
