Yes they can, they are pirates. She didnt keep them on her because she was there to ASK for shit not impose her will. If she smacked tai huang she would probably have gotten herself raped until the day she died. Did you even watch the movie?, she doesnt even KNOW these people by the time she arrives there., she becomes their captain like, so much further beyond in the plot you look ilke you were high on solvents when posting that. Be thankful they allowed a woman in their pirate lair to speak.

No one can force Elizabeth to do anything. She could've just snuck them in, she's smart to do that. Tai Huang had to let her pass because Sao Feng was expecting them and he can't harm Elizabeth because she'd kill him first. She's his Captain in the middle of the movie so he has to listen to her. Besides, Elizabeth wasn't the only woman pirate. Mistress Ching was a woman. They had to let Elizabeth speak. They have no right or reason to deny her.

How come Barbossa didn't have to strip? I don't know why Elizabeth removed her weapons. Why didn't she just keep them on her? They can't make her give them up nor can they make her strip. Elizabeth should've just smacked Tai Huang and proceeded. She can do whatever she wants and she doesn't have to listen to Tai Huang since she's his Captain.

@RobotsGreatWar2 Elizabeth is innocent. They had no reason to suspect Elizabeth of treachery. She should've kept her weapons she had hidden. Tai Huang can't stop her from entering an audience with Sao Feng. No one stops Elizabeth or gets in her way. There was no point in removing weapons anyway because the EITC was everywhere and so were spies and traitors. Elizabeth was the wise one who came prepared.

@cinderellajessica1 Which I think is just unfair. Elizabeth should've kept her weapons, since when does she take orders or anyone tell her what to do? Besides, she had no other weapons and Tai Huang just wanted to see her show leg. He had no right to ask her to remove her pants and Elizabeth should've ignored him. He can't stop her and she never takes orders.

She may be an important person in her place, but in Singapore, they were outnumbered by Sao Feng's men, so she had to do as ordered. They could have forced her to walk in naked if they wanted to, but they just left her without her pants.
