LMAO, You do not know what the heck you are talking about, the siran wrap does not stick to the tattoo and pull the ink out, the conventional bandage does, you take the siran wrap off after an hour of it being put on.. So your basically looking like a fool if KAT VON D uses siran wrap and along with COREY MILLER. So get some more education before you steer people away from tattoo artists who use Siran Wrap....Duh !!!! Any lotion without any chemicals such as Coco Butter.....
umm you suppose to wear the wrap for 3hrs at the most 10 and then you wash your hands then get unscented antibacterial dial soap and wash your tattoo with warm water and when rinsing you fill your hand and pour it down on the tat and you don't towel dry due to the fact towels hold bacteria you paper towel pat dry n your nt suppose to expose you tat to sun,tanning-booth,chlorine 4 2 wks and you used Luberidum 4 itching
this vid helped me alot thanx for postin it and u remind me of one of my friends for some reason lol and bacitrin or w.e. its called is wat i got too:) i just got my tat yesterday but i need to fix it cuz the guy didnt listen to me but ty for ur vid:)
Thank you soo much for making this video, I did the tattoo myself and I needed reassurance that I knew what I was doing. Not only was I reassured I was doing it right, I know what to expect :)
H2Ocean stuff actually works the best and it has for me for awhile IF you over moisturize your tattoo it will become bumpy and the bumps will look like scabs but the same color as the ink and they are softer than scabs (flaking is normal but bubbles are not lol) I recommend tattoo goo and h2ocean to my clients but its a personal preference
The best aftercare is a natural based oil, not petroleum based. Kukui or almond oil if you can find it. Also tea tree oil is excellent. Avoid wax or petroleum based products. Clogs pores and extends the healing process. Also, antibacterial soap at first, but avoid the use of these ointments after the first day. Too drying.
Thanks I got a tattoo last night..on my left shoulder...and ur advice helped although..my tattoo artist suggested me Aquafora and its for 11 bucks..i hope its as good as ur ointment! :)
Aquaphor is actually the best to use. Also when it comes to lotion you want something non scented. Until your tattoo is COMPLETELY healed don't use anything scented on it. With all 4 of my tattoos I used aquaphor till it was done pealing, then I used lotion. It made my tattoos turn out WAY better!
Use aquaphor, it's the best stuff to use for a tattoo!!! Don't use bacitracin that stuff is for cuts that are infected and your tattoo shouldn't be infected if you keep it clean.
Hey boo. U look beautiful!!! Bacitracin is ok, but the bessssst to use is a&d ointment bc it doesnt strip the color and u only need a little bit. Also unscented lotion. Aka: curel, nivea etc. My bf is a tattoo artist!
Your fuckin stupid

cocoa butter is a horrible idea. use lubriderm unscented if you MUST be cheap with your aftercare.

Dontrail1234 6 months ago
@Dontrail1234 it will be a little less bright than when you first got it, but there shouldn't be too much of a color loss.

Lotion helps dryness. Also, dont scratch it! Dont peel it either or it will scar.
