I think it attempts to simulate the visual experience of a roller coaster. NOT the "feel" and the "rush".

You're just an idiot if you expect anything more than that out of a phone.

FYI: There are no games on the iPhone (or PS3 and Xbox360) that are anywhere close to their real life counterparts. Sorry... Technology just isn't there yet. (on the consumer level anyway)

Hey folks! We are the developer for SkyCoaster. Interesting comments from you guys -- and quite similar to the ones you see on the app store. Lots of 1-star and 5-star reviews and very few in between. :)

Anyway 2.0 will have a full 3D track editor, and 2.1 will allow you to upload and share your tracks online. Give us some time...it can only get better. :)

Yeah, I'm all for apps that are time wasters but I don't understand the point of this at all. It seems more like some bad demo that comes with your old 3d graphics card than anything that would entertain me for a full 10 seconds. Just during the review I was bored of the simulation half way through.

If they expand it to let you design your own track and then score it based on some factors, speed, excitement, whatever, then you might have an app to waste time on.
