Please everyone stop saying you want people to sing on their iPhone. First of all, you don't want that at all..... no one is going to sing in the subway believe me. Second, iPod Touch doesn't have the microphone. You can't develop two different game mechanics (real vocals on iPhone and touch based for iPod) and have a leaderboard. Also, you cannot compare Taptap Revenge to Rockband. In tap tap, when you miss a note, there is no music feedback. The music tracks aren't separate as RB and GH.

I do want people to sing on their iPhone. No, they won't sing on the subway ... so they'll play a different instrument then?!? Second, iPod touch DOES have a mic, you just have to plug it into the headphone jack [and it's gen 2 and higher]. They easily could've made it just vocals, and required a mic to be plugged in to use [on the Touch's case].

This is from someone with a first gen iPod too. I was going to get it later after I updated. Now? Meh.

Watch towards the end of the video, you can see that the vocalist is in landscape, they could make the "picks" that you push a bit smaller and make it work. You could play landscape or portrait.

This is quite possibly the dumbest game I've ever seen. The whole point of rock band is to actually play fake instruments to create the actual band illusion, not tap a scree. "Vocals" was the dumbest by far.
