  • hi mate!

most manga and comics are stored in .rar containing the .jpg's

if you change the extension from .rar to .cbr (or you create a .cbr with a group of images) you will be able to view them on your PC with the CDisplay program

what I do is convert this .cbr with the comic2lrf (now included in Calibre) and it automatically resizes the images and everything works like a charm!

I hope this answers your questions.

  • hey mate, quick question(s).

-i find a lot of the manga i acquire to be in RAR files. does the sony handle those? or is it best to load each individual picture into a folder for example.

-I read below that you suggested using a pdf converter, will that let you select a whole bunch of pictures and add them in order to a pdf file?

-Also, how do you find the aspect ratio? do you have to scroll a lot? or does a normal sized manga fit nicely into the screen?

    thx bud!

  • Yeah how do you get the manga onto the E Reader?

  • @MagicalWingLT

Just use any open source PDF converter and turn it into PDF

  • elfen lied, nice choice, btw, how does it compare to reading a the real manga (in the book), does it feel weird, or is it still enjoyable

  • it feels just great! ;) I highly recommend it

  • its a PDF or word file, most likely pdf. use acrobat to create them.

  • How did you organize it on the reader? What format is the manga in? I have some straight-up jpg's of manga I'd like to throw on mine, but unsure of how to accomplish it most efficiently?
