One thing that I don't understand is all that gearing and the pulley to the dynamo - I should have thought that it would have been far more efficient to have it running as a direct drive to a dynamo designed to run most efficiently at high RPMs.
I think the turbine is more of a whistle

Nice demo! I'd like to see you hook up your pressure gauge to the boiler and also get some RPM readings on the flywheel. Thanks!
