Ethel Rosenberg joined the KGB in New York City during WWII. Ethel Rosenbergs brother worked on the Manhattan Project. He was approached by Julius, and cooperated with him to pass atomic secrets to the Soviets.

Those children would have ended up in foster care regardless since life in prison would have effectively meant the very same thing.

McCarthy had good reason for persuing socialists since most of the men on the manhattan project were academics with socialistic viewpoints.

The Rosenbergs were guilty, but they were very low on the list compared to the man whom the US let get away, and whom we never bothered to extradite or put on trial -- Klaus Fuchs. Fuchs worked at los Alamos and actually did the stealing of the Atomic plans. Then through a network of people, of whom the Rosenbergs were nothing more than middle-persons, he had the stolen plans passed on to England, where he later gave it to Soviet agents. He only spent a few months in prison and lived free.

ONE of my profs was actually stupid enough to DENY that ANYONE was EVER "shot and killed on the Berlin wall." I clarified that MOST killed were in the countryside but not in the city. One place Thueringen/Hessen (former Prussia) border some men I knew watched a man bleed to death before he could get to the West. I saw with my eyes where the AP mine had exploded.

Whether this would've happened if communists had followed the critical Marxist prinicle of historical determinism, is something else. Marxist communism predicts the eventual failure of the globalized capitalist system to deliver what makes it presently function; growth. That's hilarious! I'm a teacher and I can assure you that there are NO liberals teaching at my school besides me & I absolutely DO NOT use my room as a tool for socialist propaganda. Historically education was used as a progressive tool, but currently our educational system is completely fine with the status quo, stifling creativity and demanding obedience without question. If anything I would suggest that liberals have an uphill battle against traditional and conservative ideas in the class.
