What's the big deal? Does it have to be just gaming? I've observed my mate who's got a G5. For that amount of money, it sure doesn't seem like he's got that many options. You can multiboot a PC and have the freedom of choice for apps. Of course there are viruses (it's after all the most common OS of choice), but if MacOS was dominating the market I'm sure there would be viruses tailored for it too.

Check out the Might Mouse on Apple's website. Been around for a while. 4 buttons, but one "physical" button. It senses where on the mouse youre pressing down. Also, less gunk/dust to get in there. It's called innovation.

Mac pushes interface, usability, and industrial design. MS is a mess, inside and out. The iMac fits the whole comp into a flat-screen monitor. My brand new VAIO monitor @ work is bigger than my whole iMac @ home. Different things matter to different people. This is what matters to me. I prefer Windows, by a lot, because I am used to it, I like the moderate amounts of freeware compared to Mac(less than Linux though), I just like it better. I've had nothing but bad experiences with Macintosh compared to the majority of good experiences I've had on PC's.
Thats exactly my point. It's what we're used to. Although I have used Mac & PC for about the same amount of time, I prefer Mac. It just seems like most Mac haters havent spent more than a day on them... or they know them from grade school back in the day. I did the gaming thing along time ago. Then I grew up. I remember when games ruled my video card, memory and processor. At one time spending $1800.00 to play a $59.00 game. I got smart. Check out the Might Mouse on Apple's website. Been around for a while. 4 buttons, but one "physical" button. It senses where on the mouse youre pressing down. Also, less gunk/dust to get in there. It's called innovation.

While i think: Mac for business, graphic design, clean refined looking, cool GUI, no viruses or spyware, almost no error messages, never has frozen on me, and uh yah. MS again cant think of anything else. Also i have Windows XP and have been using it for about7-8 years then i got a mac and it's fuckin way better then MS

Mac pushes interface, usability, and industrial design. MS is a mess, inside and out. The iMac fits the whole comp into a flat-screen monitor. My brand new VAIO monitor @ work is bigger than my whole iMac @ home. Different things matter to different people. This is what matters to me. I'll take the company that can transform a boring work environment into a place you want to be in - even if you're doing work. Because we all like spending $1000 whenever they make something new, rather than fractions of that here and there on a PC. I prefer Windows, by a lot, because I am used to it, I like the moderate amounts of freeware compared to Mac(less than Linux though), I just like it better. I've had nothing but bad experiences with Macintosh compared to the majority of good experiences I've had on PC's.

Thats exactly my point. It's what we're used to. Although I have used Mac & PC for about the same amount of time, I prefer Mac. It just seems like most Mac haters havent spent more than a day on them... or they know them from grade school back in the day. I don't think you can argue that Mac users know more about PCs than PC users know about Macs, simply because PC's are much more abundant.

umm the reason macs dont have alot of games is because game designers dont bother with the 7% or 10% of the population who own macs, so they only make it for Windows and dont bother for macs, I blame the consumer for this, not mac!

I did the gaming thing along time ago. Then I grew up. I remember when games ruled my video card, memory and processor. At one time spending $1800.00 to play a $59.00 game. I got smart. I bought a net secure Mac and left behind virus progs, adware and spyware progs, defrag, c-cleaner, reg cleaner...and every other cleaner out there for Windows.
And I bought a console.
