@bamamanfx4 hey man how are you doing, i got booked for this job and my question basically is will i be overseas with this job. Or does it depend on the need
@bamamanfx4 I am really looking into being a PJ, CCT or security forces. My dad is a mechanic and he said he would definitely not do security forces. Everyday I drive on base I just see security forces checking i.d.'s, and not much more lol which is fine with me but I ultimately wanna know if they get a good amount of respect. I kinda feel bad for them because we are currently at Ramstein and they are constantly outside in the snow and I hear they work ridiculously long hours. Thanks man
@bamamanfx4 I have a question. Just found out this was gonna be my job yesterday and I scored High on my test and all, but I will change if this involves combat situations outside of the police side. This job was number 4 on my list of 8... hmmm.
Man - i really want this job...but i have a feeling its going to be nothing like police. I have a feeling i'll never even get to touch a police car or get to write a ticket or do any REAL police functions.. i'm afraid i'll stand at a gate all day or walk around the desert back and forth doing absolute jack.
Can anyone in SF chime in? I really am interested in this job.
@MissionRiddim If you're stationed in the states, you could possibly drive a police car around base and give tickets. If you're stationed over seas, you'll most likely be using a humvee instead of a police cruiser.
@MissionRiddim I can tell you that you do enforce the law and do more than sit on your ass. You give tickets, perform arrests, and many other functions that police normally do. Anyway if you want be in law enforcment nothing looks better on a resume than security forces.

I will b joining the U.S Air Force Security Forces I have been waiting 4 this since I was 10 and nothing will stop me from doin so. Wen I am out of BT and I die then at least I die free I wouldn't want it any other way. Cool video God Bless U and God Bless America.
I'm in SF training right now, little over half way. You learn some cool shit, but they are changing the course, so its going to be different what you go thru then what im going thru right now. But you'll still have fun :)
As a retired air force nco, I see potentional problems with this training.. In the real world, you would not be wearing tennis shoes with your duty uniform.. You should train with all of your duty gear to see how the movements are restricted by your body armor, duty gear and with your delta gear on.. Training in the comfort of an airconditioned class room doesn't instill real world capabilities in the people.. Might as well call it ball room dancing
We did the almost same stuff in the police academy. like the mandibular angle and many other preassure points. We also had to do a REDMAN suit fight with our instructor. Good times!! Leearned a lot!
To all the SF that are reading this, i am currently comm but i really hate it and im trying to retrain. I come from a long line of police officers and was thinking of retraining into SF, everyone is telling me im crazy for wanting to do that...so can someone who is actually SF tell me, is it REALLY that crappy of a job? Everyone says SF are stupid, i got an 85 on my ASVAB, and all my SF friends are awesome, probably most down to earth people ive met in the AF. So please give me some advice here
I plan on going in for SF. Will I get to do this training? Will I learn more hand to hand combat in SF? Anyone in the SF field that can answer some questions for me, message me. Thanks
i didn't know that the Air Force has Special Forces.. Because they don't... They have Special Operations. There is only one Special Force... Army has this...
I plan on leaving for Air Force BMT this fall. I am going in for Security Forces. After training, what will I likely be doing in my day to day job? Also, what is deployment like for Security Forces? What will I be doing? I am just trying to be as informed as possible. Thanks.
Fat girls graduate it's pathetic tech school all the time. Airmen warriors? Warriors don't guard gates all day and issue speeding tickets, HAHA weaksauce.
~~Very good video.~~ I took USAF regular Security Police training at Lackland and Camp Bullis in 1968 -- long before many of you were born. I took USAF Combat Security Police training at the Army's Fort Campbell in 1969....
Trust me, time will fly -- but always expect the unexpected.
