  • A great movie deserves a great song. Thks

  • begins was so much better than DK....even the music has more focus

  • Does anyone know where I can find the soundtrack that plays when Gordon and the cops find Falconi making the first prototype bat signal?

  • @RudySpino yerr its called Eptesicus dont know if you have allready found out.

  • 6:25 onwards is the bit where hes standing on the ledge of a skyscraper. I thought that was one of the most epic, but capturing moments of the film, batman staring over the city he must protect. :)

  • This is waht batman is in real life, the training bruc had may not have been based of the comics but it sure as hell gives a real life take

  • 5:45 "It's what we do best. We die standing."

  • This whole soundtrack puts me in a peaceful trance...

  • James Newton Howard's work here. Incredible.

  • "I am vengance! I am the night! I! Am! Batman!"

  • 5:45-5:55 Holy crap

  • This is so enrapturing.

  • It's like "Time" for bats! Haha great job Hans.

  • ♪Batmerica! FUCK YEAH!♪

  • This is my favorite track. I love 1:36

    It gives me shivers.

James Newton Howard and Hans Zimmer are a perfect pair for composing music. They are the light and dark of Batman

  • I generally love the whole soundtrack, I'm also a big fan of Hans Zimmer, but from this point 5:20 hair stands on end I, is overwhelming. It is not who he is but this track, if zimmer or Howard, but in general is one of the most profitable partnerships that have been made in the film world from what I know.

  • Does somebody know the song when bruce enters the batcave with a flaslight, then all the bats suuround him?

  • @RaTrooper458 Should be the last 1.50 minutes of Barbastella

  • this is totally James Newton Howard and not Hanz Zimmer

  • @Tripp393 and why would that be?

  • Oh yeah AND PRESTIGE ROCKED 2 !

  • Hans zimmer is the best movie composer. He and Jame Newton Howard created amazing soundtracks for batman begins and of course, their masterpiece, for The Dark Knight!

  • Couldn't agree more myself. THIS is Batman.

  • @TheHighKingFingolfin Yeah, after many movies of Christopher Nolan, I understood that all of his latest movies are masterpieces..Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Inception..They are really just deep, movies. Each one is getting better than the other..Christopher Nolan = FTW. 1:36 - 2:30 = DANG !

  • @TheHighKingFingolfin Oh sorry, I forgot, Thanks for posting : )

  • @kurok01 Same here. I never bothered seeing comic book movies in the theatre before Begins. When it came out I had to be dragged to theatre by colleagues since the entire office went to see it.

When I came out of the theatre my main thought was, "I hope to G*d there's a sequel.."

  • @kurok01 I truely agree! Christopher nolan took batman to a mysterious, darker and psycologic level! THIS is the real batman. i love it. but I think the dark knight was even better then this movie. The Dark Knight became my favorite movie! When I went out of the cinema i was thrilled and amazed. it was such a great movie. after that i bought the DVD and the soundtrack as well. Christopher Nolan became my favorite director after that.

  • @orr971 Yeah the trick with the pencil. Its times like that when you know right away this is going to be a really good film. The whole crowd errupted at that point and the movie never stopped pumping from that point foward. I think everyone including myself were on edge to see how heath would do portraying the joker. Its something that either you nail or miss soo badly it ruins the film. I think we all know how that went, lol. He won the oscar and that was no pitty thing he earned that one!!!!

  • @kurok01 very true. ever since the cartoon came out, i was hoping and praying they would give batman a perfect interpretation. when i saw batman begins, it was a dream come true.

  • @kurok01 Amen brother. you just represented how i feel about the new batman movies.

  • Nolan's a legend and so are the ones who conceived these awesome tracks....period...

  • Both of Nolan's Batman movies are amazing, with equally incredible soundtracks counterparting them. To me at least, they're more than just action movies based on comics. They take you inside the conflict of the decisions we must make to do right or wrong. Hollywood's stories always define a clear line between right/wrong and good/bad. But this portrays so strongly how complicated it really can be, and the soundtrack sets the tone for the emotions that go along with it. Def my favorites!!!

  • This song is so powerful. Thee whole movie itself is at least somewhere in my top three movies of all time. "Legendary"... In all aspects!!!:) Two Thumbs & Five Stars!!!

  • Goosebumps from 5:50...

  • perfect music when Bruce change to be a hero and the high secuence in the corner of the building....wow....Christopher Nolan is a genius and the soundtrack is amazing

  • yeah his real name is ras al gul, i just noticed that this song is called Lasiurus, in the comics the lasiurus is the thing that keeps ras al gul immortal.

  • @stranglestrong actually it's the lazarus pit that regenerates his body.

Lasiurus is one of the many bat sub-species

  • Its like this is when Bruce realizes he has to become more than just a man....something else entirely- a legend

  • And how crappy a deal that really is.

  • yea but all heroes I guess u cud say are dealt with that choice- living those terrible moments but as a hero, taking that on and accepting it too...no matter what the consequences

  • Yeah, I totally agree; but whenever I think of Batman now, I can't help but think of how hard that would be. Then I watched Valkyrie (okay movie), which was REAL, and it cemented that idea.

  • But as a hero you have to accept that...being that hero for a purpose and defending that same purpose until your last breath

  • When does this piece play i cant remember

  • When Bruce first meets Ducard.

  • sorry if i sound stupid but...who's Ducard?

  • He's the guy who trained Bruce into a fighter, but is also the main villain.

  • Isnt his real name Raz Al' Guul? (Spell check anyone?)

  • very good music + the trip to the snowy foreign mountains, to discover your purpose, best film:)

  • This track gives you a purpose to live :D

  • @wereinsaneproduction Oh man! You're absolutely right.

  • @wereinsaneproduction yeah that's why i saw it on Heath's RIP tribute video...

  • @wereinsaneproduction this track gives me a purpose to kill myself

  • @wereinsaneproduction

And die, my life is complete now :p

  • This is what you listen to when you're depressed, this stuff just echoes your emotions in your ears.

  • Or maybe you can chill and let us have our moment.

  • I like the key changes in the music. It makes the piece more authentic :)

  • great piece, like the whole batman begins soundtrack.
