By the way... has anyone noticed, when you go to the controller buttons settings, the "AX Controls" options? I've always wondered what it was, since I never managed to unlock it. It probably needs the AX connectivity to be unlocked.

Ahah, AX cabinets are so rare anyway, if you wanna get the AX characters and the other AX stuff, you'd betta start training and get ready for one of your hardest yet non-cheating experiences in your gaming life.

I remember the hell... and rage I went through unlocking all the characters in this game..... the last race in this mess on very hard.... was..... HARD! The game was so hard I used to call my gamecube a cheater!.. I think I went thrue at least 3 controllers trying to beat this game 100% .. and no.. I never used cheats on it.

i thought you get the gold parts by going to AX machine but i dont see none in this video say what :O

btw i just got all characters today (yesterday in a way) and beat sapphire on mastrer and purchased a staff ghost XD

this is more like a bonus since it's pretty rare to find the ax machine and unlock stuff the alternate way.

i had already unlocked everything in 2 other files before i made this one.

Unlocking all the AX parts and machines was one of the hardest things I've ever done in a videogame. Once I got everything I could possibly get in the game, I used a friend's action replay to get the special Japanese only AX parts. It's magnificent stuff.

I still didn't do all of story on VH, but I tried finding an AX Machine

There was one listed in the arcade here, but when I got there, I found out it was gone... :(

I also played the Game a lot and I think that I unlocked everything you show here without an AX Save. Beat all the Story Mode Missions and Grand Prixes on hardest Difficulty (Master/Very Hard) will also be able to unlock all Things from AX, or is there sth. missing? ^^

But nice that you give us a View to the AX unlockables, I ever wanted to know whats coming up. :)

yep, story mode will do that but this is an alternate way that can be easier for several players who can't handle the story mode's VH difficulty.

Yes, especially Phoenix wasn't easy to get at all. I needed a lot of Training before I made it. :)

Did you use AR or an actual AX machine to do that? I'd love to play AX at least once by the way.

i went to the AX machine.

i was curious to know how much i could unlock by just playing it and filling up my license. it was way easier than beating the story mode in VH and that's what would help people who can't get past those levels.
