@KeMpYKiiD The CRJ-900 has a lowered front so that they don't need slides on the doors. That, and the taxiway there is slightly sloped, so it gives a bigger illusion.

My view is simply based on flying as a passenger around the world. Whatever the training or skill level, in my experience I've had some hairy landings in South America with other pilots at the helm. I just prefer the way the BA guys seem to be skilled at landing very smoothly.

Some passengers on a flight in South America even started clapping when the plane landed, probably thankful they were still alive. Try a flight to Uruguay some time ;-)

I've noticed that people seem to judge the pilot and the airline only on how well the landing goes. particularly the touchdown. A lot of people also think that all 'heavy' landings are badly done, though in crosswinds (especially relatively slab sided aircraft like this 747) need a positive touchdown to reduce drifting.

the longest runways are 26,25R, 8, 7L. the 6R and 25L is the shortest runway, i know becuase this is where i fly out of everyday

I didn't know BA flew to PHX, let alone a 747 can even land at PHX. PHX is very small airport.

Actually PHX is the 6th busiest airport in the US in terms of passenger traffic.

Also, the north runway is 11,500 ft long. The south runways are 10.500 ft and 7,500 feet respectively. Plenty of room for a large jet like the 747.

hey howa bout you fly there on southwest and go to terminal 4 or any other airline, and check term 4 out thyve been rebuilding, remodiling, and it is way bigger, its nicer :)

I think the only thing in PHX that beats BA landing is BA taking off... unfortunately it's usually dark by then, and when it's light out during the summer it uses RWY26.
