  • 3:42 EARGASM! That jazzy sound on the guitar!

  • I can thell you Who they are, they are THE WHO!

  • Anyone who says Pete can't solo probably hasn't heard this.

  • @PwnageDefined A silly statement....All the bands you list are probably going down in history as amongst the best so why create negative vibes? Just be grateful all those you list are (I suspect) VASTLY SUPERIOR to you and give pleasure to millions, unlike (I suspect) YOU do.

  • @polymath7 both very good other bands. Foo Fighters also sound pretty good live I think too

  • Our Dorm neighbors ran their turntable thru the paused tape deck, gain at 10, then to the receiver. To insure MAXIMUM VOLUME !!! "Scratches and Pops O.K. !"

  • Keith Moon really earns his reputation in this performance.

  • So true today, the old man has all the money, all the jobs and all the power. It doesn't matter if you have a high school diploma or university degree if you aren't a day over 45 you're fucked, you're just another dumb kid.

  • PURE FUCKING POWER. GODS!!!!!!!

  • hungh?

  • Great tune!! Was this the opener?

  • what the!!! the old ass has all the moula?

  • @makokan2000 I can confirm that...I'm old now, lol.

  • @gblueslover2 so u got all the money, while a young man like me aint got nothing in the world, i see how it is

  • @ledzelda9 Thats right...Then when you get old, then you'll be in my shoes...

  • what the!!!

  • John Entwistle was cool as a jewel and anchored the whole band.

  • @SyvetheShairks He made the Who who they were....

  • Incredible. When The Who were badass.

  • @noodlam i dissagree, badass aint a strong enough word to describe how unvelievable they were

  • @ledzelda9 Good point

  • after 40 years, the song still stands true... hm.

  • A groovy song for sure.

  • this is such a fun song for drums :p

  • If I played drums I would (attempt to) play this every day.

  • the whos live songs for some reason are always better than there studio ones

  • Also Aquatarkis by ELP could be on the list. As I said it fluctuates over the years.

  • to PHbassman - the ten songs change over time but they have included Yes - Starship Trooper, Yes - Southside of the Sky, Rush - Red Barchetta, X - Beyond and Back, Robin Trower - Day of the Eagle, Led Zeppelin - Nobody's Fault Mine, Kings X - Black Flag, All of Quadrophenia, Summertime Blues Live by the Who....

  • @JeffreyArchitect ANYTHING by Zeppelin should always be played live. If I lose my hearin as a result, I`ll give them their proper credits!!! lol

  • Saw the Foo fighters perform this at Milton Keynes on saturday.... that was a beautiful moment

  • 1 Man should step back whereas 100 walk by^^ keep rockin men!

  • @PwnageDefined The Who were better musicians than the Beatles, and better live. But then again the Beatles arguably began writing psychedelic songs in 1966, and umpteen bands jumped on that bandwagon over the next year, so they were more influential.

  • One of the Ten Songs you can never play too loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @JeffreyArchitect which songs are the 9 others according to you?^^ nice comment...

  • this is the greatest who song ever made

  • @PwnageDefined yah, well they didn't write this one.

  • @shinybald36 no da if u watched isle of wight u know that shit

  • @PwnageDefined Hey, buddy, here's some food for thought: Who gives a shit which band was better? With a matter like music, it's best of people keep their opinions to themselves and to people who will agree with them.

  • That snare! GAWWWD!!!!!!!

  • Dave Grohl wishes he could carry Daltrey's jockstrap. The Foo Fighters' cover of this song is terrible.

  • @IEatNiggersForLunch nahhh man there decent, The who obviously plays it better but The who wouldn't play the Foo Fighters as well as the Foo fighters doo, and Dave is a good guy too

  • @IEatNiggersForLunch Compared to The Who the Foo's suck. Actually they really are terrible live altogether.

  • basis for AC/DC

  • @BeatleStone Deep Purple- Made In Japan

  • long live the who! justin beiber can shove it!

  • @TH3ROCK3R you are so original

  • And no band dares to come close to this for they know only the masters can do it and do it right

    The Masters Are:

    Roger Daltrey doing insane vocals

Pete Townsend playing radical Rock on the guitar

John Entwistle with crazy fast lighting bass playing

Keith Moon banging the fuck out of his drums

and together they make The Who

  • @doughnutboy99 Zeppelin comes close.Listen to them live from Royal Albert Hall or the BBC sessions. It's a toss up between The Who, Zeppelin, and Cream for the title of best live band ever.

It's unclear who wins, but they're the only three serious contenders.

  • @polymath7 You just named the three greatest bands talent wise. The Who is my favourite but I think Cream is the best well rounded band talent wise.

  • basis of punk

  • There is no band ever that has come close to matching the sheer intensity that Pete, John, Roger, and Keith brought to this stage. Live At Leeds forever the best live album.

  • A GREAT song!

  • THEY GOT SWEEEEET FUCKALL

  • Y.E.A.H. !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Keith, was the Best, by Far Drummer of His Day!!! Prove me Wrong!!!

  • @Diogenes1360 john bonham??

  • Townshend at his best, really, ...!!!

  • sooooooo hot !!!!

  • Various artists have had nearly 40 years to proof if ANYONE could top this live-concert. IT CANT BE DONE.

THIS is the ultimative ROCK LIVE EVENT.

    PERIOD.

  • this puts to rest any doubts i admit to having had about Keith's abilities

  • 1:35

    metal as fuck

  • best band ever!!!!

  • It's official. This song is flagged for AWESOMENESS!!

  • Finally people who love this album almost as much as I do. I so love this band!

  • I searched YT...and I found! Great track, play it LOUD!!! I found the original 1970 lp the other day, complete with all the inserts, poster etc, pristine! But I have not got aturntable so play the CD (full version)...this rocks, just wish I had been there!

  • you have to listen to this 4 times in a row so you can listen to the lads individually each time. Yeah that includes Rog, one of the greatest front men and the greatest interpreter of Pete's music. Foken Majic lads. Get fucked

  • Thank you Mose Allison for writing this number.

  • No backseat to the Beatles, Stones or Zeppelin. No way.

  • @MrGb1965 i just think they were backseat to the stones, ,thats it..but live, the who kicks the shit out of anyone

  • @MrGb1965 zeppelin and the who the greatest live and studio bands ever ( personally led zep i find more mature and hard than the who ) but the who rocks as hard as stone man!!!!!

  • There was no better bass & drum combo ever & then add Townsend & Daltry....

  • the top of rock of all the times!!!! clasic rock the best music ever

  • jhon muther fucking entwistle.

  • Without comparison - the best live album! Gracias!

  • @torb2904 Unleashed in the east and Made in japan want a word with you.

  • sweatiest album of all time....

  • "Well the young man, aint got nothing in the world these days" could be molded into the situation that todays youth aint got no real Rock n Roll in their lives.

  • Nice playin', Keith.

  • One of the 5 best live LP ever with...... If you want blood you iv got it AC/DC ---- Live evil BLACK SABBATH-----Ablsolutely live DOORS-----Made in japan DEEP PURPLE

  • @nikossokin66 Is that a joke?

  • @TheAbbeyroadfan Live for me my friend. In part live ever is fool house G.geils band- rory gallagher-thin lizzy and more more more. Led zeppelin is my favorite group for me but ''the songs remains the same'' is very bad live LP

  • @nikossokin66 That doesn't have anything to do with your other comment. You think those are the 5 best live albums ever? That's just pathetic.

  • Live @ Leeds is one of the greatest live albums ever recorded! As one reviewer said, "It's the hoariest live album ever made...". Maximum R&B!

  • Hard Rock NOT Heavy Metal

  • Comment removed

  • Rock guitar has hardly been played better than in this version ...

  • most aggressive band of the 60's.

  • The fucking Who at their best! No live album rocks as furiously as this one!

  • @lefrauens This isnt heavy metal ; its just heavy !!

  • My favorite song from Live At Leeds.

  • sadly this only has 5000 views

  • Keith moon is just fantastic on this album...

  • One of the greatest Live albums ever recorded...

  • This is the most badass song ever recorded.

  • Echt lekkere ouderwetse keiharde seventies muziek, zo hoor je het tgenwoordig niet meer helaas

  • Keith Moon is one crazy motherfucker on those drums

  • @6MitchMan Yep he always was!

  • balls out ass kickin' jam, man, ese!

  • Comment removed

  • oh yea!!! They did it all and first to do it.

  • Right.......I'm pretty sure this is actually just hard rock that happens to kick ass

  • hell yes
