Question: I live in UAE (Im American expat) and everyone says "Shoo Hatha?" Is this a regional dialect difference? Or is there a real difference between Maa and Shoo? Thanks for the lessons, you are an engaging teacher with a great way of explaining.
hiya darling nice video just one question what part of arabic country are you from? as the words im learning are tottally different... :s so im getting confused lol is there difference? im with a jordanian so they speak urduni and lebanese style i think am i correct? :s
Dear Maha I am thankful to you for your great style of teaching Arabic Language. I started learning arabic after watching your first lecture but dear i am sorry to say i could not found out lesson 11. Please guide me.
where r u from. i never seen such a videos like this. really apreciating ur dedication to improve our knowledge in arabic. through the mobile video u made a great job. continue.
Hey Maha!! R u Always giving the masculine and Feminine? I dont want 2 get it wrong. Might b embarassing or worse... insulting if I get it wrong. Ur really teachin me. Shukran!
@gabrieljuarez1000:jala is ja+allah. ja is the vocativ form, for ex. when you call someone ja Ahmad.Allah is the God.jala is used in arabic language in many places when you ask God for help.
thats weird because im israeli and in hebrew the word what is also mah. but to say what is it is called "mah ze". so since the word for what is the same in hebrew and arabic that means one of the langauges came from the other one. seeing as how hebrew is about 5000 years old, im guessing arabic branched off from hebrew sometime around the roman exile. what are your thoughts?
@ihmen There are many many similarities between these two languages but I dont think one came from the other , rather, I believe both Arabic and Hebrew branched off from Aramaic .
@ihmen Thank you for the comment, but it makes no sense that such a well structured language with such algebraic grammar, and perfect phonology that uses the entire speech apparatus that no other language in the world ever beats this. If you study Arabic inflection, and the use of dual, which is the only language that gives dual such a detailed inflection, and the precise plural for each gender and its inflection, and the three Root system just proves the seniority of Arabic.
Thanks for the lessons I am Muslim and from england and moved too saudia but don't know Arabic
