  • i think what your doing is khair but why not teach fusaha.

  • i got a question

wat does "jala" mean in arabic?

  • @gabrieljuarez1000:jala is ja+allah. ja is the vocativ form, for ex. when you call someone ja Ahmad.Allah is the God.jala is used in arabic language in many places when you ask God for help.

  • thats weird because im israeli and in hebrew the word what is also mah. but to say what is it is called "mah ze". so since the word for what is the same in hebrew and arabic that means one of the langauges came from the other one. seeing as how hebrew is about 5000 years old, im guessing arabic branched off from hebrew sometime around the roman exile. what are your thoughts?

  • @ihmen arabic actually did not branch from hebrew.

they are both semitic languages. they both branched form the same language (but not from each other)

    ...duh

  • @ihmen There are many many similarities between these two languages but I dont think one came from the other , rather, I believe both Arabic and Hebrew branched off from Aramaic .

  • @ihmen Thank you for the comment, but it makes no sense that such a well structured language with such algebraic grammar, and perfect phonology that uses the entire speech apparatus that no other language in the world ever beats this. If you study Arabic inflection, and the use of dual, which is the only language that gives dual such a detailed inflection, and the precise plural for each gender and its inflection, and the three Root system just proves the seniority of Arabic.

  • Loved it and I subbed :)
