Just started watching Jon last year -- wouldn't miss a night now. The sign of an intelligent person is his ability to synthesize and summarize complex topics. Jon does just that -- continually. And always without rancor. If he didn't have to be a millionaire to get elected (to anything) he would be a great leader for NY. But why bother, he's the only voice of reason in the media today. His role in changing America will be remembered when they write the history of today.

A rational man would understand that you DO NOT WANT the LARGEST MILITARY IN THE WORLD RUN BY PRIVATE COMPAINES. Therefore, the militrary *must* come under government jurisdiction, at *any* expense.

To do the same with healthcare, it could be done, but ONLY at a cost many times greater than it is currently being delivered (as is the case with our military)

Well get this. 1982 is when crossfire first aired. Jon appeared on the show the fourth quarter of 2004, in 2005 the show was canceled. Jon destroyed the shows credibility

@khc725282 Kinda. Look up his appearance on wikipedia, I think it was the executive director of the show or another higher up at CNN (Im currently too lazy to look) who said that Stewart was right, and shortly after, Crossfire was cancelled.

But it was a very important moment that but in a spotlight how the media is used by politicians and how they let it happen just so they can sit at the cool kids table.
