always use the 77 to increase the adhesion of the tape. If I'm building heavy and durable then I use the thinned goop in place of the 77. Adds a lot of weight but it will never wrinkle up.
wow looks like the worlds heavyest glider you must have super wind where u fly second thing black and red have the same hue in the air you get that a decent distance from you it will all look black wo whell not my plane decent job though what was the final weight? under 60oz?
We get great winds when it does blow. This one is far from my heaviest but it was built very strong and heavy for slope racing. You would be surprised how little of wind it can fly in. Color is no concern as long as it is not white and blue, as they tend to cloak against clouds and sky.
thanks for taking the time to make this , enjoyed it ron sydney australia

Do you have the plans for this online?

Nice !
But I was wondering, do you just stick the glas-fiber tape right on and then cover it.
Or do you use a adhesiv (spray glue/M77) to fix the tape in place.
Happy flying!

Great video, you look like a very meticulous builder. I'm sure it flies well. 5 stars for the backing track too.
