@countdini2000 I prefer this. In Fallout 3 past lvl 8 or so everything felt redicously easy. New Vegas forces you to specialize and actually roleplay a character with a specific set of skills rather than just make a super powered bad ass. It makes everything way more tense and makes every decision, especially in how you build your character, way more important.

this game had be very excited at first, 20 hours later im so pissed off, this game is fricken glitch infested. I cant continue with my main quest because everytime i try to go to the place the missions at, the game bugs out hardcore and i cant do anything. So i've done about 7 missions, 20 side missions, and my Fallout experience is over until Bethesda learns how to fucking hire decent programmers and quit being lazy and test their fucking products.

So I was like "ahhh fuck it, ima take over Vegas lol" and I talked to Yes Man and had the upgraded Securitron destroy Legion, drive out the NCR, and I took control of the Dam in the game. I managed to get New Vegas independence and liberty but unfortunately made it VERY VIOLENT. It was okay lol :P

It's an great game, but dear God is it plagued by bugs. Obsidian and Bethesda really should have gotten their shit together. It seems at launch their games are great, but after patches they become amazing. Better testing is needed.

Apparently on the console versions there's problems with the cache, so to anyone having increasing load times clear your cache. I'm personally playing the PC version and have had it lock up on me twice. But I really don't care though. It's that damn good.

for all of the 'bug' shit that people say constantly locks up and goofs up Phil proves some are either lying or something else. I also just locked up once like I did from time to time in FO3 after hrs of play.

It's good to see phils not seeing what 'others' are reporting and to play all day he kinda is a good test of the game. I even noticed his loading screens ddin't seem to get longer.

@CarrieTH2010 no, there actually are some bugs in the game. there are a lot of framerate dips, some 1-second freezes, and when i sold a bunch of stuff to the barter, my game froze. to tell you the truth, its nothing game breaking, however I think that Bethesda should have been aware of this and postponed the game before releasing it in order to fix it. I love the game though, and Bethesda and Obsidian announced that they were working on a patch.

I liked fallout 3 too (ALOT) but the 2 main problems I had was V.A.T.S. and Creature AI. The ai was good except for the movement. Creatures zoom around sometimes like on oblivion and i think thats why they made Vats. Fixing that movement issue and removing/dumbing down vats would make fallout even better.
