@rudybeatskcazm7 You're supposed to lean forward into your rifle when you shoot. Its the proper stance to adopt as it absorbs the recoil from the rifle. Putting pressure on your lead foot helps too.
@SpecJack15 yea thats not totally true. If your shooting standing at long distance and trying to shoot accurately the best thing to do is the rely on your bones and not your muscles and when you lean forward you rely on your muscles. and .223 has hardly any recoil.

To reduce the felt recoil, put the butt of the gun in the socket in your should, this will give you a better shooting stance, and help with recoil/muzzle rise, also try to lean into it, this wil also help. Nice Video by the way.

A lot of people talk trash on here, but most of them are just children. When I introduce someone to shooting, my main concern is safety. If they're being safe (and I watch very closely), technique can take a backseat for the first time. The main thing is letting someone be comfortable (within the rules of safety), and then you worry about technique later. She wasn't doing anything that could have hurt her or anyone else, so what's the problem? Let the girl have a good time!

If it were a fixed stock, with a 12-13 inch l.o.p. I would agree it could be problematic, but it's just not an issue in the M-4 platform. My friend's 4 year old can do it lol. It's simply a matter of not being tought proper technique I think. Also yeah, boobs can get in the way, but I've seen bigger do it. :p

There is very little wrong with her stance for what she is wearing. Tee-shirt + Bra +C-cup = side hold on AR15s. Dont arch your back so much next time. Good elbow point, good off hand hold, scope to head, NOT head tilt to scope. With a tac-vest and padding the stock would be right over your breast.

You can't descriminate usage rights based on peoples equipment, unless that equipment is prohibited by the range. Anyone choosing a range should be aware of their regulations and what they allow, and noone has any call to bitch, if the range regulations are followed, even if it may inconvience those who should already know better
@nismopower322 If you listen closely, you'll notice that's not nearly fast enough to be a conventional rate of automatic fire. Likely someone is simply trying to rapidly fire a semi-automatic. And anyone, who goes too a range that allows full auto, should know enough to expect it. So A, it's not full auto, obviously... and b, if it was, he'd have just as much right to fire it there as anyone else, firing any thing else. That's like saying someone shouldn't use a gun because it's a little louder.
@RebelRabbit308 And, after listening too it for like the ninth time now, most of the noise is actually echo. Listen too her fire a round and listen how long the echo lasts (up too nearly 3 seconds). And no, lol it's not as obvious as I first thought, but I can clearly count out a six shot string, and for them to be that clear, the firing rate would have to be quite slow when compared to fully automatic rates of fire. Point being, there's no call to complain if it's within range regulations :)

@nismopower322 anyone who has a select fire weapon, has every right to utilize a range that allows them, they certainly have as much right as any other person shooting. You can't descriminate usage rights based on peoples equipment, unless that equipment is prohibited by the range. Anyone choosing a range should be aware of their regulations and what they allow, and noone has any call to bitch, if the range regulations are followed, even if it may inconvience those who should already know better

@nismopower322 If you listen closely, you'll notice that's not nearly fast enough to be a conventional rate of automatic fire. Likely someone is simply trying to rapidly fire a semi-automatic. And anyone, who goes too a range that allows full auto, should know enough to expect it. So A, it's not full auto, obviously... and b, if it was, he'd have just as much right to fire it there as anyone else, firing any thing else. That's like saying someone shouldn't use a gun because it's a little louder.

@RebelRabbit308 And, after listening too it for like the ninth time now, most of the noise is actually echo. Listen too her fire a round and listen how long the echo lasts (up too nearly 3 seconds). And no, lol it's not as obvious as I first thought, but I can clearly count out a six shot string, and for them to be that clear, the firing rate would have to be quite slow when compared to fully automatic rates of fire. Point being, there's no call to complain if it's within range regulations :)

@nismopower322 I would have offered the young girl to shoot my fully automatic weapon. After shooting my M16 she would not have been freaked out anymore. I also would have instructed her on the proper way to hold the weapon. The question I have is what kind of ***hole lets someone fire a weapon without proper training? Someone can get injured by doing so. I have seen many videos where these ***holes let a young lady fire a weapon and wind up hurt and then laugh about it.

@wowitskayla32 It doesn't matter the people that took you to the range should have shown you the proper way to hold that rifle. Don't take it so offensively but holding a firearm the wrong would could cause in serious injury or death. It's called constructive criticism apparently you don't know how to take that, and if you don't you have no business having your hands on a firearm end of story.
