Love this lesson and understand everything very clearly. I really love the way you play along with the actual song. Is there a possibility that you might do the same for the song,"heaven must have sent you from above", by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrel? Please check it out. Thank you very much
great lesson second half of song is modulated goes up full step 2 cords higher D to G then D to Em G to A you notice Temps are singing higher in song this is where you play higher including lead guitar
@ihaveabox The patterns connect and make a loop 1 2 3 4 5 1 2 3 etc. Pattern 5 comes before and connects to pattern 1 (depending on where you start pattern 1 and if there's enough room behind it on the fretboard).
Great vid. One comment though... you are not really changing keys. Every note you played is apart of the C major scale. The progression goes from C to F, not changing keys from C to F.
I think I know the point you were making though. I guess you are trying to stress the major pentatonic scales change from C to F. If this is the case, saying it's a "key" change is misleading.

wait at 1:18 you said that C is a little bit of Pattern 5? I thought pattern 5 was way down the fret?
