They don't respect our gender and thus don't let us in,[to women's only spaces] but they don't respect trans men's gender and thus do let them in. (Basically, Julia fucking rocks)

Her book is very well written and touches on a lot of subjects that the Transsexual person has to deal with, however, she seems to fall short on the basic ethics, she seems to see herself as outside the female gender and working her way in, which is probably true for a lot of transgendered women until they actually reach that stage, a fabulous writer but still no doubt lacking that one quality that completes the change and the euphoria that comes with the knowledge that you are whole.
