I have the Michael Jordan of mastiffs. He is very tall and lean. The vet said this a much healthier way for him to be. I got him neutered at six months so he wouldn't get that monster bullk that would send him to an early grave.
cute dog, but its not really good for their hips either to keep jumping like that...im sure yall dont do it all the time, i have an OEM myself, but he is really lean...we walk 4-5 times a day....i discourage jumping at all times though

@MrVolvo340 Yeah actually size doesnt really mean shit. A rot probably would beat a mastiff. Mastiffs are some of the calmest dogs youll ever see. Rots can be nasty if trained poorly.

Nothing was wrong with the mastiff but the Rotweiller was all tore to hell. I could never leave them alone any more. Had to take the rot in for stitches and antibiotics to keep away infection. Had a neo that was very calm too until this husky grabbed his face and wouldn't let go. That was crasy! His only fight...
@rctriplefresh5 He did well until he had a hernia. I got that fixed but around a year later he died in the night. I stayed up with him trying to sooth him but he was in great pain. It started at 2 AM and he died at 6 AM. I have no idea what happened. I thought maybe his stomach flipped around but really I don't know. I was very upset for over a month. He was the same, agressive to intruders and when we were in the car together. I think I loved him more than any other dog. He

He drug that poor husky up and down the driveway shaking him like a rag and all the kids were watching. Neighbors thought he had a kid! I was then swatting my neo trying to stop it. I couldn't believe it! Gordy didn't have a mark on him. The Husky then crawled under a van with Gordy circling. It was nuts.

Why does every Mastiff owner overstate the size of their dog? My Mastiff is quite a bit larger than that (a Ch Gropetti's Gargoyle grandson), and only weighs 220 lbs. But then again I'm relying on a vet's scale, not my imagination and personal insecurities...
